I thought your writing structure and grammar were great. However, some of the story was a little cliche, like the Orc. Although some people might think reliving the beginning of Skyrim from another persons perspective to be a little boring, I thought it was interesting. Overall, I liked it, good job.

I'm glad you liked it. The story of the old orc was taken directly from the game. If it's cliche, blame the writers at Bethesda for that. I embellish and often downright make up circumstances for the Bosmer, such as the fight with the bear and his losing his fingers, in an attempt to keep the story fresh for both myself and the readers. I try to stay true, even if I somewhat gloss over, the main bits of story from the game. As I said in the preface to the first journal, I'm merely hoping to enhance my own game play. I realize not many want to read a rehashed version of a game they've played for almost two years. I'm glad some, such as yourself, do.

I elected to keep the story of the old orc intact, because I like it, cliche or not. We're all struggling to find, and in some cases, maintain our place in the world. This orc realizes his usefulness was at an end and merely wants to go out on his terms, whether he believes in all that Malacath business or not. I hope to be as brave when my own time comes.
