Religious views - Trinimac and Malacath are separate and equally important to orcs. Politics created the rift between them.
Social Background/Backstory - Kromag gro-Mukh is a tired old war veteran. He's seen most parts of the northwest by now and fought all kinds of creatures. Despite his profession he always prefered to solve problems by discussion and intrigue. There was always something about battle that seemed a very short sighted way of advancing your cause, and too unpredictable. Kromag had laid down many experienced foes and knew that one day he would meet his better. He was not looking forward to that day.
As age and experience started to change his potential and perspective on life he did not become an officer or trainer as most of his surviving collegues. Instead he was drawn to the magical arts and found out it was his true talent all along. Now he supports his brethren with magic on the battlefield but his axe always handy.
In TES3 and beyond I played my archetypes, the argonian ranger, the orsimer warrior, the breton mage, but in multiplayer I anticipate archetypes will get old fast so I have changed my character concepts accordingly. The
warrior became a battle healer, the
mage became assassin, and
the ranger enlisted.
