I'm not sure if they're posts about this but I have not heard a lot about the leveling up system in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Say what now?... I think you have to be a bit more specific.

When you level up you get to put a point into either Health, Magica or Stamina, if that tells you anything.

I mean that what are the skill trees and is their going to be a leveling up system like Skyrim or like Oblivion?

Not Set
Well, you have One-handed, two-handed, Block, destruction staff, restoration staff, Light armor, heavy armor, Sneak etc. The leveling system is going to be like Skyrim. The more you use something the better you become at it.

There isn't block. These are all the basic skill lines you start with: Weapon (destruction staff, restoration staff, one-hand+shield, two handed, dual wielding), Armour (light, medium, heavy), Race, Class (3 skill lines). You can pick up more skill lines as you progress through the world (for example, you can become a werewolf and get the lycanthropy line, join the fighters guild and get a skill line for that, as well as three or four pvp specific skill lines, amongst others). Every time you level you get one skill point to put in any of the lines you have unlocked. If you collect three sky shards scattered throughout the world you also get a skill point. Each skill line has passively and active abilities as well as an ultimate ability I believe.

This thread could have been avoided with a little more reading. I suggest taking some hours to go through the main threads in this fortums, reading up on the game and such. The systems explained above are a good guideline so you are not totally lost, but really creating threads like this gives me the impression you want us to think for you.

I would think that the "Block skills" are in the 1-hand+shield skill line.

Oh. . Still wouldn't make sense because can't two handed swords block as well? O.o

I'm thinking that blocking is something basic like sneaking that everyone can do just as well as anyone else starting off (no skill line devoted to that one thing), and then it gets bonuses from various skill lines/perks. Sneaking will most likely get bonuses from the medium armor skill line, and blocking will most likely get bonuses from the 1-handed+shield line. That kind of thing.

Ah, I see what you mean. Oh well, nothing I have to worry about since I'm going 1-handed anyway. xD

It probably is. It'll just really cut your potential down if you try to do it. You could try to RP that guy from Sword Art Online though.

That`s what I immediately thought of when you said it. Yah I think it would really not be a viable build, unless you got a really small two handed sword skin. Like someone could add the skin for that guy from SAO`s sword as a skin for a two hander, but make it small, and it would seem like you`re one handing it
