In teso do you have to be a mage race to be a good mage like being a altmer or breton or are they going to have it where any race can do anything equally.

The last time I checked one of those pages with the Elder Scrolls skills on them I noticed that Bretons get a small bonus to Magicka, while the Orcs get a bonus to Health, and the Redguards get a bonus to Stamina, I didn't check the others though.

Yes that's true, but you don't have to be a Breton to be a good mage. That bonus is just for that race, a racial bonus, and when you're level 50+, it's not going to matter if you have a sneaky Wood elf, and say a sneaky Orc for they're the same thing.

Not huge bonuses so It isn't a big deal. As It was said you can pretty much do anything. It's kinda how you want It to look.

I would choose races who have high mana.. as racial bonus..

High Elf from AD
Breton (half elf) from DC
Dark Elf from EP

But no matter all races can play mage role, yes.

The Bretons aren't half Elf.

They do - They were mix with Humans and the High Elves long ago, became half elves as the Bretons...

I would go for a nordic mage: Their 'rugged' passive grants them additional armor Rating of 50, no matter if they just wear Robes or something else. Nord therefor are also good for sneaky guys in medium armor.

Who controls the Septim crown?
Who keeps the Allesian Heresy down?
We do, we do

Who knocked Yokuda off the maps?
Who keeps the Dwemer under wraps?
We do, we do
