Let's say your character was an NPC in an Elder Scrolls game. The player, a wandering adventurer of only perhaps a little fame, comes up and engages in a Morrowind style of dialogue with your character. What would it be like? Feel free to make up the setting as you see fit.

What setting would your charater be in? (Province and time period)

Where would the player find your character?

What would your character's appearance be like?

What would your character be doing?

What would he impart upon the player considering the following inquiries...

Greetings
Background (Your character's background)
Latest Rumors
Little Secret
Little Advice

If your character had a quest for the player, what would it entail?

Here's an example below:
Quote:Character:
Fargoth

Setting:
Morrowind, 3E 427

Where would the player find your character?
In front of the Seyda Neen Census and Excise Office.

What would your character's appearance be like?
Wearing nondescript commoner's clothing, a green tunic over a beige shirt with brown pants.

What would your character be doing?
Pacing in front of the Census and Excise office, annoying newcomers fresh off the docks... or trying to find a missing ring that the guards took.

Greetings:
Are you the one that boat dropped off? Odd to see a boat arrive at that time of the day. Hope the Imperials treated you okay. I swear they took my ring.

Background: (Your character's background)
I am Fargoth, Commoner.

Latest Rumors:
I heard there has been some trouble up at Fort Frostmoth. Never heard of it? It's on an island called Solstheim north of Vvardenfell.

Little Secret:
Some rough customers come into town now and then for supplies. I think they might be smugglers and bandits holed up locally. Be doing a public service to clean them up, and might find yourself some nice loot in the bargain.

Little Advice:
Daedra? You know what they are, right? Well, Daedric shrines are where Daedra cults worship Daedra. Bad people who summon bad Daedra. Stay away from them. Why? Because Daedra are nasty. And the folks that worship them are even nastier.

If your character had a quest for the player, what would it entail?
The quest would involve finding a magical ring that corrupt guards had stolen. The ring would've already been claimed from the Census & Excise office, and if returned improves the disposition with Fargoth and the local Tradehouse owner.

Character Profiles:
Endaros Ilmori - Buoyant Armiger
Sunrio - Aldmeri Justiciar

Taren Jucanis - Imperial Deserter (Used for The Black Shroud RP)

Character:
Nehemia

Setting:
Cyrodil, 2E 584

Where would the player find your character?
Near Sancre Tor, on a road

What would your character's appearance be like?
Red haired Nord, wearing fur armor and two axes.

What would your character be doing?
As you approach him, he is fighting an orc, slaying him.

Greetings:

Greet one: Shor has denied my peace today, yet again.

Greet two: How long must I fight?

Greet three (Nord Only): If your sword-arm matches mine, kinsman. We should [u]fight together[u].

[Fight together]

IF player weapon skill above 50: Let us meet Sovengarde together, brother / sister.

*Nehemia accompanies you*

Background:

If Nord: I am a skald, brother / sister. And a good one at that.

If any other race: A skald, but I doubt that tells you much.

Latest Rumors:

Skalds carry the ancient craft that is capable of swaying the hearts of every man, even kings. But one has to learn them, not just hear them. One perished on these fields, carrying great sagas and chronicles that span thousands of rhymes.

Little Secret:

Bandits have been hauling loot to the North-East of here. I care not for gold, but you look the type.

Little Advice:

The way to an orc's heart is through quick stab to the chest, or decapitation.

If your character had a quest for the player, what would it entail?

Of Tales Forgotten: Assist Nehemia in his seek of the tomb of a Skald. The tomb is a regular Dunmer tomb, where one must defeat the spectre of the Skald. Upon defeat, the spectre drops a tome, return it to Nehemia, befriending him and unlocking companionship.

Note: If you are a Nord and possess high enough weapon skill, he gives you the quest, but becomes your follower nevertheless.
