Greetings,
With the pre-order deets in and the fact that Races can hop aboard any alliance should you purchase the Collector's Edition....

What is in your opinion the biggest abomination pairing?

My vote: Orc to Aldmeri Dominion? Khajit to the Ebonheart Pact?

I am re upping my knowledge on the lore and looking forward to your pairings and reasons for them.

Cheers!

Ebonheart Pact
Nord
Any human ----> AD

Reasons should be fairly simple. The Dominion wish to take the ruling of Tamriel from men, whom they believe to be short sighted and ignorant, the cause of many troubles.

Altmer ----> EP

Invert the reason above, and add in the great distrust of the Nords for the Altmer.

I can see a Breaton joining up with AD if they want to master magic and study with the Altmer in the sumerset isles. Maybe they want to try to prove to the Altmer that some humans are ready and willing to learn from the wisest race.

I think Altmer joining the EP is the craziest. I can't picture any Altmer serving a Nord King even if they don't hate humans/hate their own government.

Hehe Good point. From the Queen herself:
I would sooner place an Altmer infant on the Ruby Throne than surrender Tamriel to their capricious whims.

I can see why humans signing up seems a bit...ridiculous. Good counterpoint by Ser Barriston Selmy though, to perhaps provide an exception to the rules they have of what humanity is made out of :)

Indeed, I can see why the odd Breton might wish to learn from the Altmer, but not really why they would want to fight for them. They will never be taken seriously by the society.

Imperials (new race with Imperial Edition) are Known as Cyrodiils, Cyrodilics or Cyro-Nordics before the time of Talos, the well-educated and well-spoken Imperials are the natives of the civilized, cosmopolitan province of Cyrodiil. Imperials are also known for the discipline and training of their citizen armies, and their respect for the rule of law. Though physically less imposing than the other races, the Imperials have proved to be shrewd diplomats and traders, and these traits, along with their remarkable skill and training as light infantry, have enabled them to subdue all the other nations and races and erect the monument to peace and prosperity that comprises the Glorious Empire.

The Lady Birthsign and Lover Birthsign have great synergy with Imperials.

This tells me they are a Human race - the third in TESO, after Bretons and Nords, and as they have conquered all the other races & nations, much like our Romans, what have they ever done for us? = most despised.

My only guess would be that since they are studying/learning from the Altmer they would fight with them also to prove their loyalty and dedication to the learning process and maybe advance in Altmer society.

As for Nords i'm not sure why they would join up with AD and for red guards maybe for a lot of money lol
