Social Background/Backstory - Nariac was abandoned in Skyrim as a baby, their he was found by a couple of Orc hunters from the stronghold Mor Khazgur. The Orcs took Nariac back to the stronghold and decided to keep him, raising him as their own son. It was in the stronghold that Nariac learned honor, loyalty, Smiting, Enchanting, Alchemy and swordsmanship. But Nariac yearned for adventure and at the age of 16, left the stronghold to explore Tamriel. Nariac spent four years traveling Tamriel, going from Morrowind, to Black Marsh, to Valenwood, to Elsweyr, the Summerset Isles, Hammerfell, High Rock and finally Cyrodil. It was in Cyrodil, after 4 years of adventuring, that Nariac decided to settle down. He began finding steady work with the Fighters Guilds and Mages Guilds.
The work was easy and the pay was good. Nariac bought a simple but nice house in the waterfront district of the imperial city and lived happily for the next year with his work. One day after successfully completing a job for the Fighters Guild in Chorrol, Nariac stopped of for a drink at the local inn, the Grey Mare, Nariac met a young Khajiit named Dra'ruundro. They began talking and found many things in common so Nariac decided to stay in Chorrol, renting a room in the Grey Mare. During the day Nariac worked and during the night he spent drinking away his gold with his new found friend. One night, during a particularly large drinking binge, Ruundro shared a dark secret with Nariac, he said "This one has a secret to tell. One that very few know, but i trust you, so i will tell. Ruundro, along with others, is a vampire. And is willing to give you our gift. This interests you, no?" Nariac didn't know what to say so simply said he would need tie to think about it. Over the next day Nariac considered Dreruuns offer, thinking about what he could gain from it, immortality, strength, knowledge. All these traits intrigued Nariac and so that night he approached Ruundro and accepted his offer.
Ruundro told him all he would have to do would be to sleep in the inn then wait three days for the gift to set in. So that night Nariac slept in a dreamless sleep until he awoke the next morning. Upon waking he found to small holes in his neck. Nariac didn't know what to do so simply slept for the three days, but over those three days he was plagued by horrible nightmares of death and pain. After awaking on the third day Nariac was visited by Ruundro who told him where we could find him and his vampiric friends. He traveled to a secluded cave in the hills at night, now weary of the sun, and eventually found his destination. Upon entry he was greeted by Ruundro. along with three other people. There was a Nord female called Arriel, A Dunmer by the name of Arncash and a beautiful Breton girl called Lillith. All of them greeted me warmly and happily accepted me into their circle.
Nariac spent the next two years with them, Hunting for animals to eat and feed on, they swore never to feed from any mortal as we feared it would turn them into savage killers. But their peaceful and generally happy life turned sour after returning from a nighttime hunt with Lillith and Arriel. They returned to their den to find Ruundro dead and Arncash feasting on his corpse. Arriel was furious and charged at Arncash for killing her friend. But Arncash had fed on mortal blood and was stronger than us and simply grabbed Arriel throat, as she charged in, and snapped it. But Arncash couldn't stand against Nariac and Lilliths combined force and they managed to kill him. But now Nariac and Lillith were alone, their three friends dead and no idea what to do, they packed up all their valuables, gold, and animal blood then left after burying their friends. Nariac still had property in the Imperial City and so the two took carriage to Nariacs home. They luckily found it just as Nariac had left it two years ago and the two settled down together.
Another two years passed, Nariac took back up work with the Mages and Fighters guild while Lilith found a serving job in the inns of the Imperial City. They managed to live peacefully together while concealing their true states. But their luck ran out eventually when a company of vampire hunters came through the city. Then began lining people up and testing them for vampirism and any other abnormalities. Nariac was spared because he was out of the city at the time, but Lillith was taken and publicly beheaded and her head mounted on a spike at the gates. Their residence was then burned to the ground. Upon returning to the Imperial City the beggars and locals of the waterfront warned him that the vampire hunters knew Lillith was not alone and were looking for him. So this tie with no possessions to pack and no one to flee with, Nariac fled north in hopes of crossing the border to High Rock before the vampire hunters could catch up to him.
