I don't think they have released the minimum specs yet but I know that integrated graphics chips usually aren't that great for gaming. :\ The rest of the specs sound okay but I think that could be a problem. If you already have a laptop i'd suggest building a low end desktop instead. You could get something that would play the game better than the laptop with around the same amount of money if you build it yourself. And its not hard to do. I built my current pc. :P

Thanks a million for the input! I used to have a kick-butt desk top that I honestly knew nothing spec related about, but it ran oblivion, skyrim, black ops, and crysis just fine. I had to sell it for space reasons and I'm now using my iPhone, xbox, or library computers for everything Internet related. Any help is greatly appreciated. I know I won't be running anything at high settings in this price area but hey, you get what you pay for. I chose to ask this here because the community seems generally nicer than some of the people on solely pc forums

lol Yeah, I had to go to a PC forum recently about a bizarre problem I have had with my old laptop that no one I know has been able to solve and the people on there were kind of rude. But I've been posting on gaming forums too for a long time so I'm used to that. :o

Well, if you are wanting to go with my desktop idea, later I could probably give you a list stuff you could get. I did a lot of research into it when I was wanting to put together my current pc. Mine cost around $700 total but that was with the monitor too and its a beast for that price. I can run most games on Ultra graphics settings and everything. You could probably build a less powerful one that would still run TESO really well for 400-500 if you already have a monitor. I'm not going to be on much longer right now but I could post some links tomorrow.

The offer was greatly appreciated though!

Oh okay, I thought since you already had a laptop you could use that for school. lol Well, I haven't really researched laptops so I doubt I can help you much. I'm sure someone here knows some decent laptops that could play the game.

I'm in school too but I have a decent sized room so I have my desktop and my two laptops. :P

@abentwookie already touched on the problem with laptops (ie. graphics) for gaming, but its is possible to find some that'll do it. From what has been released, we know that systems 3-4 years old are supposed to be able to run ESO. You can use that as a sort of ruler for what the graphics will need to be comparable to.

Also, Id be careful about Acers if your looking for performance. They're decent computers but they tend to be lower end unless you spend a lot. If possible, Id look and see if you cant find an Asus for cheap. Even their lower end machines should be enough to do what you want.

I've actually been looking at Asus laptops and they seem to be worry the slightly higher price. Thanks for the input :) before I make any purchases ill wait untill much closer to the games release, and that will give me time to research and learn my stuff.

Yeah you should definitely wait until the specs are released before you buy anything. And Balkoth is right, my old laptop that I'm currently having problems with is an Asus and it was able to run everything pretty well when we bought it. It has an actual graphics card. Basically if you buy a notebook you should try to find one that has some kind of graphics card instead of integrated.
