Nighblade: Is there a vanish type skill where you can disappear from pvp combat and go back into stealth?

In the Shadow skill line their is an ability called Shadow cloak which allows you to go invisible

Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better
Than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his fathers,
And the temples of his Gods."

But does it break combat and allow you to re-enter stealth?

I can't speak from experience but I'm fairly certain that it does break combat. For more info check here and here

Not Set
Yes, you can use it to escape from combat. To begin with though, it only lasts 2.5 seconds. It can be re-applied whilst in stealth but the timer does not stack. I'm sure the time and effectiveness can be morphed though.

You'd probably be better off cloaking, striking a knockdown to buy yourself some extra time and then cloaking again to move into the shadows. That is if you have the mana for it.

Shadow Cloak has 2 morphs,

One will will increase critical strike rating by %70 and one will remove one dot off you. According to this,

http://eso.massyx.de/1lkv0rD (This does NOT brake the NDA)

I highly, highly assume since one of the morphs actually removes a DoT off you that it will put you back into stealth. Only thing that would brake your stealth is the normal detection, out of stamina, a DoT or you get caught in a AoE just like in WoW.

With that said, I also highly assume, that for 2.5 seconds you are invulnerable and completely invisible even with a DoT on you. Its if that DoT is on you when that 2.5 seconds is up that will brake your stealth. Personally that %70 critical rating is straight murder, you can easily put that to use within 2.5 seconds especially with a gap closer like teleport strike.

Having the DoT remover however is going to save you for escaping all together since after the 2.5 seconds is up if the DoT is still ticking on you it will brake your stealth. I am going with that %70 crit rating that is nasty.

So yes, its a Rogue Vanish absolutely.
