Nord on Daggerfall, my creation mistake! Help wanted!

Ok so I got super excited and rolled my nord, made him all beardy and cool. Started playing and having a blast, lvl 15 now! Then I realize I am on Daggerfall and not ebonheart pact where I wished to be.

I know it is my fault as a pre purchaser I have to select race AND faction (why it does not start in the races faction I do not know).

SO my question is, is there a way to change factions at this stage, or am I forced to delete and start again? Also I attempted to send all of his money and belongings to an alt in case I deleted him, but it said I cannot send mail to myself...why not? Seems like a simple MMO staple there.

Help is appreciated!

if you're enjoying your character and having a blast in daggerfall anyway then why bother even changing at this stage? Continue enjoying the story, man.

But even then, once you reach max level you will get to play in the other alliances anyway, so there's nothing to worry about.

as for starting a new character you can just put your items in the bank?? you don't need to send mail to yourself O_o

Well, if you REALLY want to be in the Pact, then yes you have to re-roll. BUT, in this game all chars on an account share a bank space. Store all your items and deposit your gold in the bank, and any char you create will have access to it.

Edit: I just realized you may want to name your new char the same name. This is how I would handle it in your situation, just in case bank items don't survive when all chars on an account get wiped.

1) make an alt, doesn't matter if you want to keep it or not. This is just so you have at least one active character.

2) Store all items and gold in bank.

3) Delete your Nord

4) Make a new Nord, and retrieve items from bank once you get through the prison

PvP purposes and friends playing on Ebonheart are my reasons for asking.

Yes, when you reach a certain lv you can change alliance. You might need to find special shrine. And it will cost a few grand.
