Okay so yeah I realize we don't even have a release date so I am thinking WAY TOO Far into the future but would anyone else like to see...assuming of course this game lives up to expectations and has a huge amount of players and is successful...over time we all live through the Oblivion Crisis and return of the dragons in the MMO?

so how many hundret years do you think your character is going to live? thats the second era.
If you dont happen to be a mighty telvanni wizard (you aint) or an archmage of the sumurset isles (you aint) you will be dead by the time any of that happens.

Touche, thats a very good point. But I mean they can rig something up if they really wanted to. Its not like I have put a lot of thought into the lore or anything, just think it would be a blast!

Maybe a mage uses an elder scroll to call people from the 2E to the time of the Oblivion Crisis to help fight, if they really wanted to write it in they could.

Given that most if not all MMO's go off real time, How many hundreds of years do you expect to live for?

Well.. I think the question he's really asking is more or less "Do you think it's possible to do this". And I'll play devil's advocate here. It's a fantasy world. Where there's a will.. there's a way. While I don't see it actually happening, I wouldn't be blindsided by the fact that we could somehow get thrown into the future. However, let's all be honest about that one. It won't happen. We're not going to see the Oblivion Crisis, we're getting a precursor to it, and our own oblivion problems to worry about as we speak.

Dragons. They've already mentioned NO dragons at launch. However, they're working on a way to implement them into the game in the future. Does this mean we'll see Alduin? Highly unlikely. But hey, I've been wrong before.

I do agree that it is possible, if there is a will there is a way, I COMPLETELY AGREE. But I am more focused on just the epicness of it, and how awesome it would be. More just throwing around fun ideas than anything else.

Completely against. It wouldn't only break lore, but would really just be a completely new game. Why bother making a new game when you can improve on what's here. Besides for the most part in oblivion only the altermer, imperials and argonians did well for themselves, everyone else got torn apart. Would you really want to be playing on the losing side? Their is also no faction PVP during oblivion as they were united. As for the age of the dragons, it would be pretty uneventful except in skyrim, as well the dragons kind of returned in skyrim. Would probably take sometime for them to spread out. Now an after skyrim mmo would be possible, but that would pretty much destroy the single player games, which I would not stand for.

Until you get to try the three faction war that will be goin on in Cyrodiil you won't really know just how great the endgame is likely to be. Some of us have experienced how epic that type of a PvP war is with Dark Age of Camelot and when I think of how epic that game was, the last thought on my mind would be Oblivion gates and Dragons from Skyrim....none of that is even needed, trust me.

I dont want to re play same games i finished before, if you want Epic adventure pray they let you go outside of Temriel, there is so much fun stuff out there, and since 2E records got "destroyed" in war it dose not haw to follow lore or be recorded.
