Faction & Race:
Ebonheart Pact (Nord)
Firstname - Olermir
Title - Wrathbringer
Sex - Male
Age - 21
Parents - Father: Stafngrimr, Mother: Aeta
Bloodline - Bromlokiir
Occupation - Templar of Stendarr
Faction - Ebonheart Pact
Appearance - 1.87m, brown short hair, brown eyes, short carefully trimmed beard
Personality - Loyal, just, honorable, truthful
Best Memory - The day he was named Wrathbringer by the people of Whiterun.
Worst Memory - The night of his parents' deaths to the fangs of a werewolf.
Skills and Character traits - Knowledgable, Master Tactician, Hot-headed at times (depending on the matter at hand), Speech, Smithing, Enchanter with Stendarr's blessings, Restoration spell-array
Armor - Olermir favors heavy armor. Not the bulkiest, like the Nordic armor, but more fine ones like the steel plate armor, or a simple chainmail with plate shoulders. His armor is always tampered by his smithing skill and enchanted with the most powerful protective wards that his faith in Stendarr has to offer. He also bears an Amulet of Stendarr for protection and from which he draws the power Stendarr imbues his Templars with.
Weapons - Olermir favors the sword and shield. He thinks that the best offense is a good defense. Nothing like sustaining your opponent's attacks with your shield until you find the opening in his defenses to strike him down with your sword. His shield is always round, because it offers more balance for easier maneuvering in all angles around his body to block incoming blows from multiple directions. He carries to swords; a steel one, enchanted with Stendarr's blessing to set his enemies on divine fire, which he has named "Norokkrein" and a silver one enchanted with Stendarr's blessing to turn sunlight against all manner of undead and daedra, turning or destroying them outright according to their strength, which he has named "Vokulfeyn". While he is human, due to his ability to control the beast-blood, he is not susceptible to silver, allowing him to wield Vokulfeyn when faced with the spawns of darkness and evil without any peril.
Challenges for the Character - Maintain control over the beast blood that courses through his veins.
Birthsign - The Lord
Religious Views - Stendarr, the god of righteous rule by might and merciful forbearance.
Politics Views - Detests machinations of politicians. Even though he charges head-on in the front lines during times of war, he hopes for peace.
Social Background/Backstory -

Entry 1: A child becomes a man
As a child, Olermir lived peacefully with his parents, who were farmers, on the outskirts of Whiterun. They lived a peaceful life, and demand in wheat was high as Skyrim's cold climate offered few acres of land where one could sufficiently cultivate it. One night, however, horror rained down on them. Under the light of the Bloodmoon, a stranger knocked on the door, asking for shelter for the night. They politely let the stranger into their home.
When they sat on the table to have dinner, the stranger looked disgusted by the vegetable soup, and said: "I was looking for something more...bloody..." Then, he let out a roar and started ripping out his clothes...and he changed. His body grew larger, his limbs became longer. Black fur covered him from head to toe and his nails grew long and sharp. The stranger was a werewolf. Before they could even react, with claw and fang, he turned Olermir's parents to bloody carcasses, and then turned his eyes on young Olermir. He let out a fearsome howl, that put terror deep within Olermir's heart, and then stormed out of the house and vanished into the darkness of the night. Looking everywhere around him to find somewhere where he could focus his sight away from the dead bodies of his parents, Olermir's eyes stopped on an amulet that the stranger had dropped on the floor while he was turning. He picked it up, and knew that with this in hand, he could one day track down the beast, and exact vengeance for his parents' deaths.

Many years passed, and Olermir trained with sword and shield by the best trainers Skyrim had to offer. He was always asking around in inns about the amulet he had, and if anyone could recognize who it might belong to. One day, an old man recognized the amulet; his wife and child had been victims to the same beast many years ago. He told Olermir what he knew about the stranger.

Olermir put together what gold pieces he had, sold his sword, and with the money he had gathered over the years, had the local blacksmith forge him a silver sword, as his studies on werewolves had taught him they are highly susceptible to silver.

The next morning, just as the sun started to rise on the horizon, he set out on his hunt. A few of the people that had been his company all these years waved him farewell in fear they would never see him again.

Later that night, he arrived at his destination: a cave on the slopes of the Throat of the World. He left the supplies he had taken with him at the cave's entrance, and, sword and shield in hand, he entered it. Inside the cave, he saw a simple yet adequate living quarter; a bed, a hearthfire and a desk. But no sight of the stranger that made this cave his home. He walked over to the desk and found a journal, detailing all the "hunting trips" of the stranger. Through the pages, he came across an entry on the night his parents' died. Rage filled his veins, and his wrath would be unstoppable.

"Never thought you'd find me.", a voice said a few feet behind him.

He turned around to see the stranger soaked in blood. He had just been "hunting".

"You never should have crossed my path.", Olermir replied. "Tonight, you shall pay for what you did to my parents and everyone else. Tonight you shall feel my wrath!"

He raised his sword and charged at the stranger. The stranger simply pushed him away, as if he was a straw doll for sword practice. And he began to change, just as he had done so many years ago. Now a beast stood before him, but Olermir's resolve didn't fade. He took a defensive position with his shield raised. The werewolf leaped onto him, and his fangs stopped just a breath away from Olermir's throat, as he pust the beast away from him with his shield. He bashed the beast again and again with his shield, without managing to find an opening in his opponent's defenses, while making sure to block the whirlwind of claws that the beast unleashed on him. The werewolf let out a bellowing roar, and mauled Olermir with its right hand. Sent flying several feet away, his shield slipped out of his hand mid-air. Now defenseless, he stood up with fire burning in his eyes. The werewolf charged at him. As the beast leaped on him, and sank its teeth into Olermir's shoulder, he got the chance his had been waiting for. He thrust his silver blade into the werewolf, piercing his heart. With a final howl, the beast fell lifeless to the ground. Olermir found the strength to get up few minutes later, not caring for his wound, as joy overcame him for avenging his parents. He tended to his wound, and got on his way back home.

Once he passed through Whiterun's main gate, the people started gathering around him. The blacksmith that had forged his blade walked up to him and asked "Was the blade any good? I'm used to making steel swords for battle, not fancy silver toothpicks."

Olermir took out his backpack, and from it he took out the beast's severed head.

"Aye, I think it did alright, for a fancy silver toothpick."

The crowd cheered and hailed him. And from that day on, he would be known as Wrathbringer.

Nearly a month later, the Bloodmoon rose once again on the midnight sky.
The next day, Olermir would wake up in the forest on the outskirts of Falkreath, lying beside a half-eaten deer. He stood up and looked down on his body. He was naked and covered in blood. He realized that he had been turned to a werewolf, infected by the beast's bite a month earlier. Such a fool he had been, bent on enacting vengeance, that he had only read about how to kill werewolves, not how to protect yourself against one.

Shaken, he got back to Whiterun and sneaked into his house to remain undetected, naked as he was. He packed his things and set out for the Temple of the Divines in Solitude, to seek a cure.

Once there, the priest told him that after the disease had progressed far enough so as to turn him for the first time, he would never be cured of it, unless the Divines wished it so. His only hope would be to learn how to control the beast inside, and only the School of Restoration would help him in his endeavor.

A few more years passed, and after a dedicated service to the Temple of the Divines and endless studying in the School of Restoration, Olermir was knighted a Templar. He had the beast within him under full control, he could still turn into a werewolf but only if he wanted to and he could keep his instincts under control.

But Tamriel was in turmoil. Three alliances arose, all seeking to conquer Cyrodiil for their own; the Aldmeri Dominion to the south-west, the Daggerfall Covenant to the north and the Ebonheart Pact, which Skyrim was part of, to the west. An all-out war all across Tamriel had just broken loose.

And Olermir Wrathbringer's duty as a Templar, had only just began.

(Sorry for any historical inconsistences, I haven't really had the time to study on the lore for the era TESO is set it, so please bare with me.)

Entry 2: The Bromlokiir
It had been a long journey from Solitude where he served as a Templar to Stendarr. The High Priest had spoken to him about the coming war among the Ebonheart Pact, the Daggerfall Covenant and the Aldmeri Dominion. He had given direct orders to Olermir to travel to the camp of the Bromlokiir and join them, but something in his words implied that Olermir would find much more than just allies among the Bromlokiir. So, saying farewell to the priests of the Temple that had taught him many things, and to the High Priest who always was there to protect Olermir from his beast-blood until he learned how to control it, he set out for the camp of the Bromlokiir.

-

(Several days later...)
Olermir started yawning as the day's events had been overwhelming, giving him many things to think about, which eventually made him tired. He thought about his new allies, the Bromlokiir, who could be much more than mere allies. Beor Bormahu seemed to know something that he had yet to share with Olermir. Maybe he would soon share that knowledge. Then again, it could be that Olermir had never really felt what it means to have a family since his parents fell victim to the werewolf's fangs all those years ago, and with these warriors he finally felt something close: brotherhood. Only time would tell if Beor of Skyrim had a secret to share or not. Olermir went on to think about the services he had to offer to the Bromlokiir as a Templar. He could only hope that his faith in Stendarr, the god of righteous rule by might and merciful forbearance, would not come in conflict with the Bromlokiir's faith. He acknowledged the nordic gods, for which true Nord could not have Kyne, who gave men the gift of Thu'um so they could stand against the dragon Alduin, or her beloved Shor who allowed true sons of Skyrim entrance to Sovngarde? But it was Stendarr that helped him control the beast blood that coursed through his veins ever since he took vengeance on the beast that had took his parents' lives.

Olermir set all bad thoughts aside, hoping for the best. The Bromlokiir valued honor above all, after all, as true warriors do. With a wolfish grin, he fell asleep, dreaming of the battles and glory to come next to his new brothers-and-sisters-in-arms. "Voth Ahkrin!" they would shout, and each time their foes would tremble.

Entry 3: Bloodline

It was a new day, and Olermir was taking his first walk in the Bromlokiir's army camp. He was getting acquainted with the few Bromlokiir that had already answered Beor Bormahu's call, but many more were still expected to arrive. Passing outside the Bormah's tent, He saw Beor stepping outside and nodding him to come over. Olermir, even though surprised by the summons of the Bormah, as he was still but a Clan Member and what could possibly a new recruit help the Bormah with? Stepping inside the tent, he saw Beor already sitting on a chair, inviting Olermir to take a seat as well.

"I'd best get to the point. Us Nords don't waste any time with pointless banter, do we?", Beor said.

"I guess we don't, even though you have to admit that sometimes a lot of meaningless fights could be avoided if we did.", Olermir replied spiritedly.

Beor let out a roaring laugh, fit for a Nord.

"I guess you're right. So, has your parent ever told you about your bloodline?", the Bormah inquired.

"He never had the chance. He and my mother fell to the fangs of a werewolf when I was but 5 years old.", said Olermir with tears coming to his eyes. He was strong, but he always felt responsible for his parents' deaths because he could not protect them.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Olermir.", Beor paused to give Olermir a moment to regroup. "What if I told you I know which bloodline you belong to?", he added.

Olermir looked at him with just as much surprise as with curiosity.

"My father, Wulfgar, and your father, Stafngrimr, were cousins. And quite close ones really. Their fathers before them, were brothers.", Beor stated, eagerly awaiting to see Olermir's reaction to the news.

Olermir struggled to get up, as his feet shook so badly he could barely stand.

"Excuse me for a moment sire. We'll speak in a while.", he said, his face clearly illuminated by the joy of learning he was part of a family that was still alive.

"No need to excuse yourself, dear cousin. I know it's a lot to take in. We'll talk tomorrow.", Beor replied, thinking of how Olermir must have been feeling to have found a family after a lifetime without one. He did not mistake his need to take his leave with anything but joy and surprise.

-

A few minutes later, with the full moon in the sky, Olermir was storming through the forest, not as a man, but as a beast. He always gave in to the beast blood and ran as fast as he could, leaped as high as he could, howled as loud as he could, when his feelings where extreme. In the past, it always had been anger on the anniversary of his parents' deaths. Tonight, it was of joy. Not only had he found some powerful allies to help the Ebonheart Pact win the coming war, but he had also found a family. It would take time to bond with them, but at least now he did not feel alone.

The wolf stormed through the trees, leaping from rock to rock and climbed to the top of the hill. There, lifting his head to the moon, the triple nature of his spirit passed before his eyes: he was a Man, a Wolf and a Bear. He let out a bellowing howl, an expression of how he felt, full of overwhelming joy.

He was a Bromlokiir in name and in blood. He knew he had found his place.

A bitter ironic twist he has had. Olermir's story does tie in well with what we know of TESO so far though! Did you have a crusader-werewolf character in Skyrim as well?

Yup. Playing right now actually. Started him over a few days ago in light of the Dragonborn expansion. Member of Companions (to become a werewolf), Mages Guild (to train in Restoration) and Dawnguard (for the Templar rank). :D

Sounds like you're all set in Skyrim then! I'm glad TESO is working out for you so far when it comes to playstyle. The idea is quite unique- I can't say I've seen a holy knight werewolf before!

It's actually coming from inside me. Generally I'm the type of guy that you could call a fool; he always wishes to help people and he rushes to the aid of people that would never rush to his. I retain high hopes that someday, this world will be a better place.. But there are days that I see all the injustice and all that's wrong and I get filled with rage and hate. Besides, I always RPed the "Knight in the shining armor", yet I always had close ties with the wolf both as an animal and a symbol from a very early age. (When I was 3 years old, my favorite movie was The Wolf with Jack Nicholson and I would howl every single time) :P

Pretty cool!

Especially like that you gave your character an emotional touch, not an awful lot of players do that, but these things make your character come alive!

Keep them entries coming!

Thank you very much! Could be that I later turn the journal to a word document so that anyone that wants to read more, actually feels like reading Olermir's own journal (new entries in new pages, dates, hand-writing font, page colour, etc) :)

Thanks a lot mate! See, thing is, I've always been into RP in mmorpgs, but it was never a thing really. Now that I'm waiting for a game that I can already see entire guilds supporting it, and since I'm in one that requires 90-99% RP, I'm giving my best shot at it.. The bio is far from over, not only because of entries to come, but because in time I will be adding to the past entries as well. :)
