This map isn't accurate and is not considered part of canon. It's fan fiction. You should know that Aldmeris may not be another continent at all but may actually be another name for Tamriel. Also, there is nothing in lore than tells us how large Akavir is.

As for whether or not we go there, who knows what ZOS has planned for future expansions. From the little we know, Akavir is a pretty dangerous place.

If you aren't descended from the Tiger Dragons, I wouldn't recommend traveling to Akivar alone or in parties.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

that map is wrong.
Its outdated.

Aldmeris is most likeley not an actual place.
And akavir is based entierly on speculation here.
Dont use it.

Also Akavir is never relevant for anything.
we wont see any akaviri at launch and id highly doubt wed ever go there.
ZOS can bareley pull of Sumurset isles and you want them to make the most alien place on Nirn?

Akavir is not happening.
Its supposed to be a strange land. And its good for what it is. By that i mean far far away. Only showing up to fuck our shit.

Pyndonea.. maybe. An endgame raid for the Aldmeri? i could see that happening. But not at launch.

Also: Weather controlling: Maomer, "Vampiric" Snake people: Tsaesci. Both have a snake theme but please dont roll them into the same thing...

Yea seriously, there will be all of summerset isle, most of elsweyr, most of black marsh, almost all of vvardenfell, as well as a lot of mainland morrowind, and about half of skyrim, as well as a good deal of hammerfell, that isn't playable, and now you want them to expand into Akavir? Why don't you wait for them to finish Tamriel first, I'd like to actually see what Summerset Isle and Alinor look like before we explore some other continent.

yeah, there are so many good maps about nirn. and about the alkavirie, they just build the empire's legions, the blades, created the first ebonhearth pact and tried to destroyed all dragonborns. so yeah, they did nothing. Also they are reports of those snakes using weather magic during the first (and only) invasion by the empire on alkavir.

Screw Akavir, it's Tamriel or GTFO.
