Evening Star looms on the horizon... Decembers close. and with it CHRISTMAS! I really want to build my own PC and I wanted to know how good these specs are;

-Graphics Card
-RAM
-Motherboard
-Hard Drive
-Case
-PSU
-DVD Drive
-Processor
-Monitor

Please tell me what you think and if I can find any of these parts cheaper.

I know this will up the price but try to fit in an SSD drive for the OS. 80-120GB is big enough. You will seriously love the performance boost of the system. Also buy the Windows 7 Ultimate if you can afford it. Alot of protection from that version vs. others.

Be careful about overclocking, make sure the mobo has ample safeties for immediate overheat shutdown. Make sure your CPU cooler can handle the OC and make sure you get a good layer of the silicone compound on the CPU. Missing a corner or a spot could be bad. It's all about the details sir!

Build looks great to!

I second the SSD drive idea. It is totally worth it. This is the one I have: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820147188. Also as far as thermal compound goes I recommend the arctic mx series: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6835186038. That stuff works like a charm. Good luck on your build!
