Firstname - Peryn
Surname - Moorcroft
Sex - Male
Race - 3/4 Breton, 1/4 Redguard
Age - 26
Occupation - C.E.O of a has-been company
Faction - Daggerfall Covenant
Appearance - Short, slender build. Not well-toned, but wears heavy armor better than Dremora ever will. Fair-to-golden skin. Distinctive cut on his lip, but has a rough beard anyway. His hair is black and scruffy, and his ears have a more distinctive point than most of his Breton kin.
Personality - He's seen as a bit of an outsider. The only reason people pay attention to him anymore is because of his prowess as a Templar, and his newly inherited company. He's otherwise an approachable person with a twinkle in his eye and a story to tell.
Social Background/Backstory - Life is hard enough being a Breton as it is without even recognizing the fact that he's also 1/4 Redguard. The Redguards see him as an outsider that is only good for keeping them alive, and the Bretons resent him a lot like the Elves and Humans did the Bretons a long time ago. His mother, Evelyn Moorcroft, was never around, and his dad, Azani, lived in Hammerfell for almost all of his life. The only escape he could find was with the Orcs, and even they had their skepticism of him. The Orcs taught him everything he knows about properly wearing his armor and how to wield his sword, while the blind Breton elders who lived in Daggerfall's best bars taught him all about the art of magic; I guess being blind better connects them to Aetherius.
Best Memory - Travelling to Vvardenfell with his father when he was 14 (this only lasted a day).
Worst Memory - Being attacked by a group of Argonian prison escapees, and almost dying at age 9. This was when he obtained the cut on his lip, and when he realized that he had a strong affinity to magic. There were three of them being escorted by Dunmer guards wearing Bonemold armor, when one of the Argonians broke free and started slashing at them with a shiv. As quickly as they broke free, the Argonians started slashing at Peryn, and only just cut his lip. Peryn knocked them back with a quick burst of electricity. As soon as Peryn realized what he did, the Dunmer guards regained their composure and apprehended the Argonian prisoners. That's the last time he ever visited southern Morrowind.
Skills - Heavy Armor, One Handed, Block, Restoration, Destruction, Speechcraft/Personality.
Challenges for the Character - The challenges Peryn must overcome are his weariness of Argonians, his company's revival, his disposition of mixed blood in the Daggerfall Covenant and his need for acceptance.
Birthsign - The Ritual
Religious Views - Him and the Gods don't see eye-to-eye, but he tries to have Zenithar on his side, especially now.
Politics Views - He only wants to see the end of this stupid war, and only sees it as a detraction to the real problem at hand. He chose the Daggerfall Covenant over the Ebonheart Pact because of the weaknesses in its race relations and his bias against Argonians.
This was my first Character Bio and I was on a tight schedule when I wrote this. Any and all feedback would be appreciated so I can better myself in future. P.S. I plan on using this character for the Elder Scrolls Online upon release, and I was curious as to how my character would blend in this new environment. Thanks!
