You're talking about the 10% of players that know as much about Tamriel as we do, do you realise that? The 90% don't know jack crap and many of those probably got their impression of Altmers from Skyrim, but then again, they might just think that makes them "bad" so it evens out.

I find it ironic that we're here debating where the core fans will roll when we will be outnumbered tenfold by John Doe and the "Derpers". (Apparently they must be derpers. I wouldn't know.) Dismissing them is a bit like dismissing a tonne of cotton bearing down on your head. "But cotton is so light! - Uh yeah, but this is a TONNE of cotton. Are you sure you're going to stay and take it?"
If you're really concerned about population balance you should be estimating where the 90% will roll and what they will do. I've no idea really but I think human and elf (mainly Breton and Bosmer) factors, from the people who don't care half as much as we do, will balance the numbers quite a bit.

I am not worried if the DC catches up with us.

I never really enjoyed having huge numbers witch is the main reason I avoided the EP

I'm not debating, I'm stating where inflated faction numbers come from.
Also, I know Morrowind fans will be rolling Dunmer, but if theyre fans of Morrowing they probably won't be rolling a Drizzt clone and don't fall into the category under discussion.

I think that bethesda did a great job making the ebonheart faction biggest. I mean they have got dark elves which attracts a lot of morrowind players. And they have got nords which will attract a lot of skyrim players. As for for the other 2 factions, the AD won't be popular because of skyrims aldmeri dominion and the Daggerfall continent is simply to new and players won't rechognise the land. They'd rather see morrowind instead of highrock.

The numbers don't matter, thanks to the three faction pvp system.

How is making one faction outrageously huge (Geographically and Population Wise) good. None the less, I shall stand steadfast in defending the Daggerfall Covenant, and the races of man (no matter how ignorant the Nords are in siding with both Mer and Reptile) against the Legions of those lacking the merit to sit on The Ruby Throne as Emperor. Sooooo... Yeah...

Mhmm well it be a concern, but its one of those things where there are advantages and disadvantages. Personally I prefer having a smaller faction then a larger one.

When I played as an altmer in skyrim I did so with the plan to rebel against thalmor agents I found there and joined the storm cloaks. After playing skyrim for a while I down loaded ablivion , morrowind and daggerfell. I think you should give more people credit. This is a fan site. People here are fans of the elder scrolls. I'd say its more like 50/50.

I'm not sure what you mean but I wasn't referring to the fans on TESOF. We're obviously all part of the 10%. The 90% do not care enough about the game to join a fan site.

It is not. It was a bit of sarcasm. And I will join the AD I feel nothing for dark elves or nords. And the only city that I really want ot seea again is the imperial city and I can do that. I was just making saying that the ebonheart faction is really appealing to a lot of people because of previous games.

I think the number differences will make a huge difference in battle strategies.

EP will be able to use force to get their way, the other two will have to use a little more strategy.

It could make for interesting combat to see how people deal with the use of numbers as opposed to a flat 100 vs 80.

I'll take 100 of south western Mer over Ysigramor's 500 "forgive me I know i butchered that spelling." Reason why? My caravans will arm them to the teeth.
