Will anybody be going pure class without too much alteration? I've seen things like on the quakecon video where Nick was the Templar with a bow and doing many not so templar like things. Is that most people's plan?

I'm going to go as pure as I can into the class I choose and only take other small skills for heals and the such.

Depends on what classes there are, if there's one that pretty perfectly matches my desired character then I'll keep it as pure as I can

Same if there is a sort of ''half warrior half thief or ranger''

I will have a pure class if there will be a hunter class because I want to be a sneaky archer but still not totally worthless when spotted.

I'm going to most likely go with a pure caster class. I'd love it to have a lot of utility but by utility I don't mean able to whip out a sword and shield and start tanking!

I think there would be some advantages for going pure class especially for damage classes but you would almost always need a team to back you up, or depend on other people to get things done for you same with other pure built classes. Remember this is not only a PvP game and has a large PvE setting so being a versatile character might be better.
I think the main thing is finding the balance between a competitive PvP character and a PvE character that is able to survive out in the open world when alone.

I'm loyal to pure warrior class. But i'm interested, that what is the starting difference between classes? And its probably not possible to be DK and have Aedric spear skill line? ... Im not sure how these things go yet...

I'll be going pure Dragon Knight with specs and equipment all related to tanking. I don't plan to go outside the classic "holy trinity's" tank build.

After enough experience I don't think class will have any meaning other than the group finder. It was stated that you decide which role you wish to fill and the finder sets you up with a party.
So really... if we define our class we'll all be pure.

If I can't go pure sword n' board warrior, Dragonknight will be the perfect thing for me... Good DPS with a little extra flair thanks to the fire

I like pure classes. Tris is likely to be a Jack of all trades-rogue (NB), for Sahar I'm still working on details but she'll definitely be a fairly pure Templar, focusing on Sun-skills.

I quite like pure classes, but the truth is that if you want to be more versatile you have to mix things up a little bit ;)
