Yes, you can die in the game and when you do you will return to an away point (Kind of like a graveyard). I believe there will be no Item remodeling, but the game is still in the beta phase and the game could change. I myself would not like it if there was item remodeling in the game.

Please correct me if i am mistaken, oh, random strangers full of knowledge.

You answer if your character can die, what is something obvious, but the question are about item dyeing >.<

Anyway, if I'm not wrong, will have some tipe of customization, probably about the style (like, the Nord iron dagger and the orc iron dagger are two different styles). About the item dyeing, dunno.

Dyeing and Dieing.

I don't think there will be item dyeing or remodeling, but that's something that isn't completely confirmed. I doubt there well be anything extensive, but hopefully something along those lines. Dying full plate a bright red would look kinda cool.

I'm kind of curious why it's important to you. In D3 item dyeing was kind of bland, but I was glad it was there.

Well now I feel like a complete idiot, haha. I totally space cased that, but yeah as sordak said you can change the style of a weapon from race to race, but if you're hoping for remodeling like Wow(transmogrifying), it most likely won't hapen. Dying a weapon I would say Is a possibility considering the fact that the they were looking at Oblivion & Morrowind for guidance during early production, but it is a very low chance of that happening. If you would like it in the game, you can always contact TESO and request it. I find that the TESO staff is very accommodating and responsive.

Sorry for for that again.
Embarrassing myself on the Internet, check.

Well that was quite rude.

It is not snot-green - it is volcanic glass green. Very beautiful - go pick yer boogies elsewhere! Just don't wipe 'em on my favorite armor.

Of course it would be stupid to have garish colors of dyed armor and if it happens at all (???) Beth/ZOS would keep the colors realistic to the world. They always have - nothing in Tamriel doesn't match the rest of it.

As for modding/remodelling, if that's what some people are asking, it doesn't seem likely as it would give some people an advantage over others, even if it is only having a look nobody else has. The single player games are noted for their moddability; but if they do allow a player-created mod then it'd probably be the way Everquest 2 does it and it would be entered and put up for sale to everyone.
