OK, so this idea will probably fade away since I won't be able to start it until mid-June, but I had an idea and I'd like to see how many people would be interested.

The time would be about a year/ year and a half into the war. The great powers haven't taken the Imperial City, but everywhere around it is a warzone. Cities have been besieged then sacked by a faction, and then besieged and sacked by another.
And while the great powers that be play their war-games, the people of Cyrodiil must either leave their homes behind or be caught up in the death and mayhem that the war brings.

Which brings us onto the setting. Because of the huge amount of civilians being displaced during the war, a small settlement was built in order to house these people. However, there is no strict form of government or bureaucracy, and many are discontent with the course of actions being taken. Many are young, and therefore untrained in any skill.

The RPers will arrive and provide a service for the town. Through that, they become part of the makeshift council held by the current leader- a soldier named Dromius.
On this council they will decide on numerous matters, as the settlement is still fairly new and many things have yet to be decided. However, there will also be several events which should prompt a discussion.

For example: A group of known bandits arrive at the settlement wanting to become apart of it, claiming that they have skills with hunting and can protect the village should it fall into danger.

I would like a debate to be raised in the council. I will be using my character, Iogairn, but if he would side with the majority I will introduce other factors in order to get a debate going. However, there will be consequences which I will not tell you about. Sometimes they will be good, sometimes they will be bad.

For example, should the decision be to let them in, they will become an effective part of the community...

... or they steal a large amount of the resources, and run away in the night.

Should the decision be to not let them in, they will leave the settlement alone and never bother it again...

... or they attack the village, killing several members and making the populace hostile towards the council's governing.


I am hoping for six other RPers, as, with me, it will make an odd number so decisions will be democratic.

While not directly based upon, I am hoping this will be something like the Walking Dead- or at least the early parts of it; I haven't seen all of it yet.

Name: Kulven
Age:22
Race: Breton
Occupation: Thief/ Store keeper
Appearance. Kulven was given the gift of height standing at 5"9. Due to him being taller than the average breton, his appearance often gets people confused, confusing him with an imperial, or even a nord. His lack of prominent high cheekbones. Lean athletic body, and his short black hair really amplify his human features. His hazel eyes, and thin eyebrows shows a sense of femininaty. His short black hair is kept in a low, ponytail often exposed to the sun.

Attire: He often walks around with normal clothes similar to miners. His wealth is often concealed, by the clothes he wheres. Leather is common material used in most of his clothing, though he does often wear cotten dark shirts.

Personality. His sarcasm can get in the way of his intelligence. Making him seem ignorant. His plans can sound ubsord, bet when exicuted, it seems immaculate. His confidence can also be confused with his cockyness especially when it comes to wooing a woman. Which, often turns sour. Befriending Kulven isn't difficult. But getting close to the breton will be a miracle.

Backstory. Jehenna was a city he grew up in as achild. It was settling calm, and everything in the normal. Kulven on the other hand fell into a unique crowd, as a child. His need for an adventure, was often haulted due to the wealthiness of his family. His natural since of sneaking came in handy once he wanted to leave the house for the night. The manmer fealt out of place when it came to being a noble. His arrogance, and sarcastic words often got him into trouble, and his lack of interest in his activities made him feel unsure of himself.

It all changed when he sneaked out of the house. At the age of fifteen he would find himself roaming the streets ofJehenna, when a foreign boy made a proposition. " I am in need of your assistance..." the young boy said. It was then Kulven took the offer. It was simple Buy the boy some bread... and feed him. Upon taking the request he noticed something odd. The coin purse he had with him vanished. It was with him not to long ago. The tap on his hips proved the point. The foreign boy... who requested his assistance, vanished. Chasing the fellow manmer, was a task. Until he caught up to him. That day, Kulven was introduced to the life of a thief.

Challenges for character: His confidence is challenged when he other's trust him from one of his obscure tasks. He has the potential to lead, but is often questioning himself.

Pet peeves:

When people ask if he is a nord, or Imperial.

When people ask why he is so Tall.

When people touch his bow without asking.

When people keep asking him questions.

You said seven people in the OP. We now have 6. These would be @Iogairn , myself, @Isilmo , @Idriar , @"Took an arrow in the knee" , and @Hobado. @Maxwell57 and @Svadas have not recently said if they would or would not be interested in this.

Could I also make a request that some of us use newer characters?

Here's my bio if I may join, let me know if you want anything changed.

Name: Kelkemmeril.

Sex: Male.

Race: Altmer.

Age: 61 (not sure if that's too old for this RP).

Occupation: Craftsman.

Appearance: Kelkemmeril stands at about 6'4 with a lanky but muscular build with long golden-blond hair that touches his upper back. His skin is golden in colour like most Altmer with golden eyes and a sharply pointed chin. He has pronounced cheekbones and a surprisingly youthful face and long slender fingers.

Equipment: Wears a long brown leather tunic that touches his knees with matching pants, boots and gloves with a black leather belt around his waist. When he works the forge he wears a black leather apron. His only weapon is a small steel knife he keeps tucked under his belt but has never used it against someone.

Backstory: Kelkemmeril was born in Alinor in the Summer Isles to a couple of crafters. His mother was an alchemist and an enchanter while his father was a smith. He learned how to smith, enchant and use alchemy from his parents and spent many hours practicing. When the war broke out his parents left to help supply the troops in Cyrodiil. Kelkemmeril resolved to get better at his trades and moved to Cheydinhal in hopes of learning some Orcish smithign techniques from city Orcs. While in Cheydinhal however the city was sacked by the Pact which looted his small workshop. Deciding he couldn't stay in the city he moved into a small village in the Cyrodiilic countryside for refugees like himself where he hoped he could be of use.

Skills: Smithing, alchemy, enchanting. Knows some very basic frost and fire spells with little to no skill at anything else.
