First and foremost, I apologize if this does not belong here, I assumed this would be the right place to inquire about addons and such.

Anywho, I'm going to take a leap of faith and assume I am not the only person here to go from World of Warcraft to The Elder Scrolls Online. On WoW, I was a pretty avid role-player and there was a mod called "My Role Play" for (obviously) role-players.

What it did was create an in-game character bio sheet that you could fill out. Everyone else that had this mod could see your characters bio, which included things such as: characters appearance, birth place, where he/she lives, his/her personality, his/her background, etc. Pretty much a summary of your character before anyone else interacted with your character.

It was also kind of a way to see other role players in the game! It would give your character a little badge by their name which told you that they were role-players like yourself!

I have been looking everywhere for a mod like this, but I haven't found anything even remotely close to it! Does anyone here know of anything similar?

It's not a necessity, but it would help tremendously seeing as how there are no servers dedicated to role-playing. I would just walk up to random people and try to engage them, but I know 89 times out of 100, most people would just be confused seeing as how, from what I see, there aren't a lot of active role players.

Maybe I am just not keeping my eyes open enough. I have seen a few role players, of course, but it's rare to come across them. I play on the North American server. Is there a faction that is more role-playing friendly? I have also been in one role-playing guild, but the guild died very quickly for some reason.

Role playing also is not a necessity, of course. The game is extremely fun on it's own and very immersive, to me, but role playing is just a plus.

Thank you for your help and sorry for the wall of text!

If you click on the home tab, and scroll down, you will see a section on RPing. You would likely get an answer there more quickly/easily than here in the General Discussion.

The fires burn. Our supplies are spent. Axes are dull, and armor is rent. The enemy approaches, our doom, they seek. We are Daggerfall Covenant. We are Orcs. Our comrades, they come, for glory they seek, at the side of our iron and steel. We will not fall.

Yeah, RP adds a whole new dimension. I'm sorry, crucify me if you will, but ES plots are flawed by the very thing that makes them great: everything is fractured to death. There's no rhyme nor reason to the series of events and quests, unless you take extra care to set it up in a nice flow, which takes away from the enjoyment.

I wouldn't have my ES games ANY other way, but their strength has NEVER been storyline, as it's more of a pulp-feeling stew of quests scattered around.

So RP'ing definitely adds a new level of playability, and the chance to carve out your own plots and storylines using our characters.

I just wanted to throw that out there!
