Hello, people of the elder scrolls.

I'm a Rp'er. In my time Roleplaying in multiple games (Swtor, wow, etc)
I've grown tired that I'ts no romance animations. No I'm not the perverted monster that want S*X animations or anything but hear me out.

In skyrim for example, you could marry people. One thing that sucked was... Oh we are married, looks like we're never going to kiss each other, EVER.

Wow, Roleplayed marriage with another: /e for "Kiss" animation. Same thing with swtor... (Well you could romance your companions in swtor, but not players, not all the companions appealed to me.)

What is so strange Is that you can marry other players with the ring of Mara. But No, its too hard for them to add anything like, A hug animation where you hug each other.
Kiss each other on the cheek. And last but not least. On the mouth ("EEEEEEEW" thats what they say, only men that works of the ****ing corporation?)

Maybe add multiple animatons instead of just one. They could probably add the option to have S*X too, but I would prefer it blurred out something, with sounds (Yep I'm weird)( Also the option to get kids that can collect gifts for you, they ask for food, money, water, etc etc) But this is just my opinion. Do you agree?

This is more tricky than it seems. Adding /emotes isn't a problem and you can always make an animation that is "hug", but when you talk about two characters actually hugging or kissing you need to trigger an animation with both characters. This can be implemented in various ways but it is also easily exploited for harassment.
1, you could have the animation auto-trigger (would you want that for every horny teen that comes by?)
2, you could implement a "confirm, yes/no", this could be exploited for harassment as you'd have to click the dialogue away.

well, can't think of any other options right at this moment..

Well this can be implemented, but only when you married someone. In the meantime when you have no spouse, it wont be an active emote until you married. That would prevent the harassment. And lets be clear that not everybody will even pay much attention to this type of RP well most of the people and the new that comes along the way.

Another 2 options:

Own chat window for Yes/No

But the pop-up for yes/no In a corner or something

Or Options that enables it only for friends/guild members etc

Edit: What Leinad said, enable it for the player you are married to

An even less intrusive way would be that a simple message in your chat log say "X wants to kiss" or "X wants to hug". If you want to, you just target the person and use the emote back. That way if someone REALLY just doesn't care then they don't even need to click a popup. They just keep on moving. Coming from both an RP and game mechanics standpoint, it would make more sense to have these emotes available without being married because because it's not like you don't flirt with people before you marry them.

While the addition to have sex is just kind of like "*shrug* meh" in my opinion, I would be fully against having kids. This is doubly so if they have any positives/negatives in the game experience. First of all, where would these new NPCs be? There isn't any player housing so that means there would have to be a place somewhere in the world that they are... along with everyone else's kids. And what happens once the baby is born? Are they suddenly a teenager (which doesn't make any sense) or do they stay as a little babies that don't do anything? Keep in mind that there is a timeline in the world here. Suddenly having time jump ahead ~10-14 years completely screws up any and all lore based around when things happen. Logically, the only thing that makes sense is if they stay a little baby that has no home (because of the player housing issue). It's just a complicated thing to add when it's so much easier to just not have the players conceive.

I fully support the idea of having romantic emotes such as kissing or hugging since I'm sure many couples will be playing this game as well as new relationships forming. Sex emotes are unneeded (where will you do it anyway?) but whatever as long as I don't have to see people rutting in the streets, but having a kid is a logistical nightmare that is much better to just not deal with.

What... why any of this? I guess I dont understand the need to waste resources on this idea, but I love the child/divorce parameters. Well done avidus. You forgot one thing though: child sneezes and coughs on you causing sickness, immediately drains stamina and magicka, but you still have to take care of the childs every need while afflicted. You can earn no gold or items during this time as you were forced to stay home from work, and somehow your wife still gets mad at you because you get to stay home and she doesn't, which causes permanent confusion until divorce.

It is not that I lack loyalty, in fact it is one of my stronger traits. It just seems that I have a much deeper, more poignant sense of betrayal.

i am in favor of romance emotes. i also feel like a robust emote system should be priority in any game like this. SWTOR and GW2 were shameful in their RP options. FFXIV did alright actually. . . i could sit in chairs and there was an EXTENSIVE amount of emotes.

Romance can be a dangerous path for a game. Firstly any animation would need to account for the large variations in size each character can have.
Then the question is, do you allow homosexual romance?
If you don't, you risk offending the LGBT community and the game being labelled homophobic.
If you do, you enrage the 'family first' movement and get accused of pushing 'gay propaganda' on 'impressionable children' (somebody think of the children!!!!)

IIRC WoW only allowed you to flirt and blow a kiss, i suppose if TESO only went that far, it would not risk stepping on too many toes.

INTERACTIVE ANIMATIONS and /Set_Relationship tiers is what I want to see in a next gen MMORPG. Here's what I mean...

First, you set your relationship with someone. So you and a FRIEND both enter the command:
/set_friend_friendsnamehere

Now the system knows that you two are 'friends'. When you and a friend are friended in such a manner, it allows for certain emotes such as /highfive -> two 'friended' players standing close enough to each other, a friend1 types /highfive and friend2's character automatically accepts the call and the two characters are seen giving each other a high five.

/set_significant_otherplayernamehere might set you and your 'lover' as being together, allowing something like /kiss or /kisshand where if the other player has also set this variable, the animation automatically plays out with your characters interacting when the command is typed.

So you could run up to your significant other stopping close to them, type /kiss and the two characters embrace in a kiss, then return to their natural standing state.

Because the models in TESO are all about the same size with fairy slight differences, it wouldn't be too difficult to rig something like this up.

I hate to break it to you, but this is pretty false. There are major differences in height possible in ESO. Not Gnome to Orc kind of differences but definitely not "fairly slight".
