This is the planning thread for a dungeon crawl RP.
Who?
This RP is open to adventuerers of any kind. There will be no payment besides what you can plunder from the ruin (I promise there will be treasure enough to go around, I mean it's an Ayleid ruin afterall) so if your character is a mercenary and expects payment, maybe this isn't the right RP for that character.
Where?
Nornalhorst is an Ayleid ruin located in the West Weald, a bit east of Skingrad. It appears in Oblivion and I assume it will be present during the events of ESO. Since it was in game this gives us the advantage of having a detailed layout of the ruin's two zones.

Here it the first zone. Things to note here are the entrance (marked as "out") and the door to the next zone (there are two marked as C and D, though for the purposes of this RP D will be inaccessible.)

Why?
In this RP a band of cultists and necromancers have taken the abandoned ruins for their base of operations. Jo'Naar will not let the evil go unchecked so he has left word with the innkeepers of the Imperial City to send like-minded adventurers to the ruins. If you do decide to join, your character will probably have heard this at an inn, and I would think your character would need to have strong convictions against necromancy to want to make the journey to the ruins. There could be other reasons though. Maybe your character is interested in studying the wild elves? Or perhaps just an explorer who will go anywhere? It could be anything, but your character should have a purpose for going.
How?
There will be room for four others in this RP. The party will face many lesser hostiles that I will allow the individual RP'er to control, just please don't kill more than 2-3 per post. Any special boss-like enemies will be controlled by myself. When the party comes across some treasure, I will let you decide what your character finds, but please keep it reasonable. As far as the pace of this RP, I will make a post setting the scene and generally give everyone in the RP time to respond before posting again. There are some cases where individuals will be interacting, but try not to post back and forth too much. As such there might be lulls in the postings for this RP, but it is not dead! If you do not want to continue we can work something out OOC, but I would like this RP to be finished and not end in the middle of the adventure.
Rules
I don't want to have many rules, but I feel like some guidelines should be set at the very least. The party will need to sleep and eat throughout the RP. This will be worked out better in the RP, but it is something to be aware of anyways. Keep things interesting. React to what others have said in their posts, it goes a long ways to making the RP fun for everyone, at least I think so. In battles, it is fun to kick ass, but it is also realistic to make mistakes and slip up from time to time. Just try to balance things out I guess is what I'm trying to say. Also keep in mind how much weight you are carrying and how that will affect what treasure you can hold (you may have to leave something behind, it's up to the individual) Just be aware that all IC actions could have consequences, however unintended or otherwise they may be.

Velsan Trevani - Half Breton, Half Imperial, Velsan is a powerful necromancer who is believed to be around 500 years old. He is an expert mage in the illusion, destruction and conjuration trees. Velsan is the leader of the Nornalhorst cult, an organization dedicated to its leader's twisted visions.
Azuk Gro-Bakh and Corelian - Azuk is an incredibly strong Orcish warrior. The seasoned warrior is a mercenary by trade, which is what brought him to Nornalhorst in the first place. He fights in the typical fashion of an Orcish berserker. Corelian is an Altmer necromancer, armed with a dagger and donned in enchanted black robes. He is slightly above the middle age for an Altmer, giving him much time to practice his sinister skills. However he does not seem to be the brightest Altmer for he still has much to learn. His fighting style is typical of most spellcasters. Together the two stand guard in the immediate entrance of the ruins.
