(( I can't believe that I started this, but my mind was screaming at me to do it now now now!!!! Well here it is. I figured that our characters would be very old or dead by the time 2E 604, after the defeat of Molag Bal by the hands of the Soulless and after the Great War between the Three Great Factions. So some goodbyes are in order. Warning, tragedy and heartbreaks are normally in this RP, roleplayer's discretion is advised. ))

-----------------------------------------------

Azzanadra had gone missing for over a year and managed to evade all of his friends, even evading a certain vampire. Reason for this was that he was contemplating of whether to stay here in Tamriel and die peacefully, or go to Akavir and travel the continent despite his age. In the end, he decided to go to Akavir, but he needed to prepare first, and he wanted to say goodbye to all those who knew him.

He was visiting what appeared to be a gravesite on top of a hill in the island of Stros M'Kai. He had flowers on his hand and he placed the bouquet on top of the two graves. The tombstones were marked with slashes and their names appeared: Rahim La'Ahad and Soraya La'Ahad. They were Azzanadra's parents. Azzanadra knelt down before the two stones as he bowed and said, "Hello, Mother. Father. It's been a while." He then said, "I hope you are proud of what I had done. I had crippled the Dark Brotherhood. And I saved this world from Molag Bal's tyranny, along with the Soulless who helped me. I don't normally talk to you like this since you only treated me like property and not like person, but I guess I had to. I'm leaving again. This time, to the Akaviri nation. It will be perilous but I will go anyway."

"Hello Azzanadra." Someone said as Azzanadra looked behind to see who it was. It was a younger version of himself albeit this man had shorter hair and was a buzzcut. This man was also not an assassin, but a warrior like those spiritual warriors in their culture who summoned swords not by conjuration but by using sheer will, but that art was lost so he could not do it. The man was garbed in light Alik'r garbs along with its hood but was flopping on the wind behind him. He also had a wicked curved scimitar sheathed on the side of his hip.

Azzanadra said, "Oh, it's you, Ali. What is it?"

Ali shrugged as he said, "I came to pay my respects I guess."

"Come then, sit with me." Azzanadra said as Ali nodded to what Azzanadra told him to do. Ali knelt down beside Azzanadra and bowed before the graves. Azzanadra then said, "How is life for you?"

"Great I guess. Though being a townsguard is kind of boring. I want an adventurous life like you had, Azzanadra." Ali said to his fellow Redguard.

Azzanadra chuckled as he said, "You'd make a fine adventurer, except that you would get an arrow in the shin." Ali laughed to what Azzanadra said.

"Yeah, I'm kinda clumsy." Ali let out a chuckle, he then recomposed himself as he asked, "What are you going to do now?"

Azzanadra shrugged. He simply replied, "I'm going to Akavir."

"Akavir? Why? Are you going to leave that poor elf girl again?" Ali asked.

Azzanadra glared at Ali with wide eyes. He couldn't get angry at the man but for this one that he brought up... he just can't hold his emotions in. Azzanadra brushed off all of the rush of emotions when Danaris was mentioned as he said, "That is none of your business."

Ali said bluntly, "If you like her, you should stay with her. Doesn't matter if she doesn't like you or not. At least you're there for her."

"You are crossing some thin lines here. It's not that. Just don't bring her up and I will tell you." Azzanadra said calmly but some hints of anger and sadness was within his voice.

Ali sighed. Azzanadra would be stubborn about this and would not accept his feeling of love for Danaris when it was so evident in his actions to save her and fight for her. He nodded as he said, "So what's up?"

"I'm dying, Ali. I only have 4 years left. I want to spend that travelling in Akavir. After all, it would keep the pain away from having unrequited love." Azzanadra told him, with a sorrowful tone in his voice and sorrowful eyes.

"I see... but it doesn't excuse the fact that you're running away." Ali told Azzanadra as he stood up. Azzanadra looked at him wide eyed as he choked out, "What?"

"You're running away. You're afraid of the pain of rejection. That's why you're running away. What a coward you are. I bet you that she is disappointed right now." Ali told him as he folded his arms, amused with his answer and with Azzanadra's reaction.

Azzanadra, clenching his fist and fuming with anger, grabbed Ali by the neck and punched him straight at the face. He yelled at the downed Redguard, "You crossed the line! I told you that it's none of your business and yet you stuck your ass up in it, swishing it around in there."

"Well I'm not a coward! I would not hide my feelings for someone who I love! Just like I searched for you for 5 years to know you better!" Ali shouted back at him.

"Well, your mistake! Go to hell!" Azzanadra angrily yelled at him as he went down the hill slope. He was mad at his brother for being so right about what he was doing. He was running away. Running away from reality. From all this. He really thought that he would find solace in the land of Akavir, but perhaps not. Still, he made up his mind to go, and he would not be persuaded to turn around and go back home.

"Well, good riddance to you too!" Ali responded back as he got up and wiped the blood of his lip that was still dripping. He had never seen Azzanadra burst like that. He guessed that Azzanadra had held all of these emotions inside him for a long time and Ali just added to the bag to the point that it burst and uncorked. Ali then said to himself, "Azzanadra, I hope you're alright with this decision. You will regret it someday. You will. I know it." He then went down the hill slope, following the dark Redguard.

Seth Al-Kir made his way threw the town. He kept his head down and cloaked in a hood. It had been a day since it happened and the symptoms had already started to kick in. Everywhere he looked he felt like people were staring at him. He was ashamed to re enter the forest, he felt like he would bring disgrace to the forest just by entering it. Even his fellow Bosmer treated him as an outcast. He noticed a tavern next to the gate. Although it was wrong to do such as a soldier, he felt the temptation to just enter it and drink his sorrows away. From his position he could see two redguards up on a hill near some graves. They seemed to be arguing. He wasn't planning on doing anything until he saw one of them grab the other and punch him. At that point he started dashing up the hill. When he arrived the fight seemed to be over as one of them was walking away. He approached that one, "What was that all about?"

Ali saw Seth walking up to him and asking that question. He waved it off as he said, "Oh, it's just about feelings. That's it. The great and mighty Azzanadra, the defeater of Molag Bal, is acting like a child." He then said, "Oh where are my manners? My name is Ali. Ali La'Ahad. What is yours?" He extended his hand out towards Seth Al-Kir. Azzanadra was already gone by the time the two were talking to each other. Ali was worried for him. He just wanted Azzanadra to see the truth of his actions: that it would only cause more pain for not just him, but for others as well. He had already disappeared for 4 years and the elf grieved for him, now he's going go away again? How will Azzanadra's friends cope with this? He wondered as he waited for Seth's reply. Azzanadra needed time anyway to think about his actions and to cool off as well.

"Seth Al-Kir" he replied. normally he would have gone through the procedures he was trained to do like get statements from both parties involved in the fight and alert the local authorities, but today he didn't care as much. he had other things on his mind. "Sorry for disturbing you. It is sort of reflex by now that when i see fighting i rush to it. Too much time as a soldier... or maybe not quite enough." He pulled down his hood a little more, reminded of why he had to leave that old life behind. this person appeared to have seen his fair share of horrors in the world. he had most likely fought in the war as well and was now feeling mournful over something. But over what? Seth looked up at the graves and got a hint, "anyone you know?", he said nodding toward them.

Ali looked back as he said while scratching his head, "Those two died in the war. My parents. Something that I was born in but never fought in either. I'm sorry for my brother's rudeness. He's just angry with the world and with himself. I'm trying to sort him out." Ali moved his head around to see where Azzanadra went but he could not find him. Also, what made him so open to this stranger? He doesn't know but he feels that he can connect with this Bosmer.

"well, I'm too sober, you're too sad. I figure some ale will cure both of those. I'm going to have to leave the city tonight, but not before i clean out the tavern. Wanna help?"

Hiraethus was taking another walk through the town, something he tried to enjoy, but couldn't bring himself to do. He had come here, to this town, because it was the place he had first met the love of his life. Well, five years of his life. He wished it could have been longer, he would give anything for that.

It was then that he saw three men atop of the hill. Next to two graves. Perhaps people he could empathize with. He needed someone to talk to. Now, with the help of a wooden staff that only worked as something for Hiraethus to support himself with.

Finally, he reached the top of the hill where he reached the three.

"May I join you three gentlemen?" he said, still leaning on his staff.

Ali saw Hiraethus talking to him as he said, "Sure, you can join us. We were just going to the tavern after our little talk." Ali then turned around as he put his arm outwards to Hiraethus as he said, "I'm Ali La'Ahad, brother of Azzanadra La'Ahad, one of the Soulless who defeated the King of Rape, Molag Bal." Ali had bragging rights about Azzanadra. After all, everyone seemed to know the assassin by now, which Azzanadra did not like and he rather stay underground, but his book about his origins revealed all about himself.

"My name is Cyfiawnder Hiraethus," he said, shaking the man's hand. "It is always nice to meet somebody who cared more about that than the damn war," he turned to Azzandra.

"And just who might you be?" he asked Malcolm Ophicius.

Azzanadra was gone from the three as he was making his way to the dock of Stros M'Kai. He had already prepared most of his stuff already and all he needed to do now is buy a boat and voyage to Akavir but he wanted to say goodbye to Alator, Mordynak, Solduiran, Zirik, and Danaris first.
