Hi fellow daggers

Long time no see but since the beta weekend I have been thinking about the game again.

For those who don't remember me, I am the one who promised to become the greates blackscmith in Tamriel. Now I face a really tough decission:: wich class will i choose on release. To be honest, I don't like the class system, or that it exists in the first place. Why can't there be ne classes at first, focusing on basic skills, and later on those four classes can be choosen from trainer additionaly to basic, guild ...
I'm not hundret percent sure but I don't think you can retrain in another class and so you are stuck with one of the four forever.

But I guess that can't be changed anymore till the release, even if Zenimax Online or Bethesda like to.
Perhaps you guys can help me with the decission: Which class should my Ork Blacksmith pick?
Sorcerer and Nightblade drop out, imho.
Templar and Dragon Knight left.

I'm quite sure most of our people will pick Dragon Knight because of his offensive abillities. I like the disrupt skills and this "Molten Arms" skill is verry appealing to a blacksmith player in combat. ^^

On the other hand there is the Templar with both supportive an offensive skills.
At least this will be an interesting choice for an Orc. ;-D

I'm going to say Dragonknight would be best for a blacksmith theme, the fire spells for a "heat of the forge" feel, and the earth magic could work too because of ores and stuff.

Easily dragonknight because its more of the warrior class in the game where the other seem like more stealth and magic

I agree with the classes I dont really care for them either but if their going to add classes I wish they would have more than four.

I agree having classes is a nonsense but I am glad there are only 4 that all seem very similar (it looks like the classes have very similar skills but with different graphics).

I also agree being able to have options for 2 or more classes would also make more sense but balance in pvp has perhaps dictated why Zenimax have taken the WoW approach here.

Of course what makes TESO interesting is that the class is the bare bones and it will be the skills that really flesh out the avatar making the classes what they were in the original Morrowind (there were 12 classes then) seem virtually obsolete.

In other words classes may well feel at the time of hitting max level like different shades of grey.

I will be wanting to buy some decent Orc heavy armour when I can so will keep an eye out for your smithing }:)
