People might enjoy playing Nords? There's always going to be a majority of something, for TESO it seems it'll be the Nords.

I played as a Nord in Skyrim, but I won't be one in TESO. Though I played many different characters in Skyrim.

I played a Nord in Skyrim just because it is Skyrim the homeland of the Nord. In Morrowind I played a Dunmer and in Oblivion an Imperial. Later in Skyrim I played an Dunmer and it was awesome. So I will play a Dunmer in TESO!

no, i played as a nord in oblivion.
Everyone who thinks people play nord just cause of skyrim should just stop beeing vocal about it, nothing indicates that this is true in a TES community that has played the previous games.

I like the Barbarian archetype, and i told you what the other races are to me already: Bretons: Cheese eating surrender monkeys, Imperials: romans, and therfor weaklings redguard: unsophisticated race that has yet to prove to be more than excuse.

The nord fit my personal heiritage the most, my interrests in gameplay, the culture im interrested the most and beards.

It is fact that Skyrim mainstream media brought many Nord fans to TESO for the "wrong reasons". But there are people who really like the Nords - not just becasue Skyrim. I play with argonian and khajiit and had to pick one of them.

I pick the race for the province (I was a redguard in daggerfall, dunmer in Morrowind and imperial in Oblivion) and to me there's no other way to play skyrim but with a nord, if your using any other race... you're doing it wrong.

I agree that being Nord and joining Stormcloacks seems quite "default" thing to do... But Bethesda is proud about it's do / be whatever you want so I guess there is no "wrong" on it.

There is no "doing it wrong." in The Elder Scrolls. If your play style is to use the native race of the providence, good for you have fun, but don't tell someone they are doing it wrong.

Me personally, I played a nord in Morrowind and am using a dunmer in Skyrim.

Was a Nord since Morrowind, wasn't very good at spell creation or alechemy and Nords aren't either, will be going Nord in TESO, though will have second character that is Orc. Did do an Imperial in Oblivion as well as a Redguard but never really use magic though in Skyrim i had a Nord that did everything, he was my theif, assassin, warrior, mage. mostly used Bow in Skyrim since i was able to stealth kill almost anything but pulled out my Deadric sword if i was found. I want the PC version for the Dragon weps mod for Skyrim.

Ok, maybe a redguard, orc, or an imperial, but could you imagine a bosmer using the thu'um? Pah! Or any other mer for that matter? and forget about the beast races!

The's no better way to play skyrim than with a big fat dumb barbarian.

Dude, please don't be such toxic person. There is "no wrong" rance/class/role pick since you can freely choose it.
