I, myself am not experienced enough to know, so i need someone to tell me... if you could. I've started downloading Skyrim Legendary edition from steam and it is installing in one package called "skyrim legendary edition" which is currently preparing installation. What i need to know is... Does it install all of the DLC's in one package??? or will i need an individual install for each?

Why did I have to be THE DRAGON BORN ? :c

The legendary edition of skyrim (on disk) inherently has the DLCs on the disk. It stands to reason that if you're downloading the legendary edition on steam, all the DLCs will be included in that download/installation you're doing right now.

I downloaded the Skyrim Legendary edition a couple of days ago and all the DLC appears to be not only downloaded but installed as well. I got kids trying to get me to adopt them and got attacked by some vicious cultists already. Apparently all I need now are some vampires

Here's a question for you guys: if I were to get a TES game from Steam, could I mod it? Or would Steam just patch/break anything I try to put in it?

Nope, steam won't patch, neither will it break anything.

Steam doesn't have a workshop for Morrowind (unfortunately), which is what I got. Also, all my mods I got off of nexus don't seem to work (even the self-installing ones).

You need to activate the mod on the self-installing one.

Depending on what you mean by "activate", I've done it either way. I ran the .exe program to self-install (and it said it was done), and I went into the game files on the main menu and they weren't listed to be toggled on or off. If the .exe program needs to be in a specific folder for it to work, they did a really bad job because it doesn't say so in the read-me file.

I wasn't using nexus mod manager. Just putting it in the old-fashioned way.

Skyrim was my first attempt at modding ... and I used the Nexus mod manager. Worked very well for me and was pretty easy to learn. If you're already familiar with modding, Nexus should be a breeze for you.
