Well since I roleplay on all my characters I didn't choose based on what's cooler or something. My main joined the Stormcloaks. I haven't made an alt yet that have joined the Imperials, we will see.

Hmmm yes, I should have mentioned Roleplay. Considering they're pretty much the same, neither is particularly better, apart from rp. But why did you choose the stormcloaks for your main. Is it because he's a proud Nord, or he's politically motivated or...

He's a proud Nord alright but he wasn't interested in the political struggle in Skyrim untill very recently. Long story short he did it for his father's sake.

I chose Imperials because I play a High Elf and thought it would be dumb if I rebelled against the Thalmor. Plus, if all of Skyrim was going to hate me I might as well earn it.

I chose imperial since it's more the thalmor that are wrong compared to the actual empire. Also stormcloaks are much bigger jerks than the imperials.

Not Set
I had 2 Stormcloak characters, 1 Imperial and my new character is undecided.

I always chose the stormcloaks, I always felt torn considering the racism of certain nords twords every other race type but the thalmors religious oppression is too much for me to be an imperial -- not to mention the dominion basically pulls their strings.

I actually went with the Stormcloaks first... And I'm a Dunmer, lol
I couldn't stand the Thalmor, and I always hated it when the Nords lumped me together with them... -_-

I also think Ulfric is a badass...

TBH, both sides are equally justified. I tend to go back and forth, sometimes based on race. I wish you could join the Dominion, but that would create some issues.

By arrow. By blade.
By tooth. By claw.
By shock. By frost. By flame.
The Aldmeri Dominion will dominate Tamriel.
Our enemies will fall until the Throne is ours.

I'm going to have two characters, one on both sides, but my first is going to be for the empire! and is probably going to be the one I invest the most time in.

Maybe they'll do that in the next ES if its set in Alinor as I get the feeling the whole Thalmor issue will be solved.

Just couldn't join Imperials when those bastards were about to execute me within 5 minutes of my first game experience.
