So according to The Elder Scrolls Online Twitter account, all platforms of the game will be coming out in 2014.

"@Katjac1997 @Bethblog All versions will ship within the same timeframe. As we get closer to launch, we will provide more details."

Oh, this is making me mad.

I wonder if we can play with ppl that are on PS 4 / Xbox one?

"I don't think we will, but, you never know."

Maybe it means same quarter? ESO was just confirmed last week that it was to be released in 2013. I hope they don't push the pc version back...

I am wondering the same thing, but I think you are right. But with all these curved balls Bethesda and ZOS keep throwing you don't ever know.

Everything will be released in 2014. But remember like every recent TES game has been pushed back. Whether or not this has to do with the consoles is irrelevant, because every TES game has had that to deal with as well. The game will come when it's ready. Calm down, and be patient. I've only ever heard "Oh ZOS don't release the game till you're ready! Don't want a half-baked game!" and then it happens, the game gets pushed back, and everyone loses their minds. Stay true to what you spoke.

Each version of the game (Computer, xbox1, PS4) will each have their own server. Says so right here: http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/a.../a_id/1093

Can I just say I love you for posting this? I'd rather wait and get a quality, finished game than have them not push it back and release a bad experience that nobody will want to play or pay for and doom the game from the start.

Thanks, @Tyger. I appreciate someone who shares my view :) I think it just needed to be said.

Oh I completely agree with you guys. Haha I was just looking forward to it. Also just had ShoddyCast and the TESO Twitter tweet me both at the same time saying the same thing. Can't wait!

as of 8 days ago. For some reason I thought I heard one of the developers say a 2013 release in a recent interview. Maybe I am wrong

It's not the actual pushback that people are complaining about, it's that the only reason there IS a pushback in this case is that they're porting the game to console.
There is Never a good reason to port an MMO to consoles, not to mention the triplication of server cost/maintenence for the 3 separate verses and the dumbing down of gameplay/story/missions/content.

We now know the reason for the lack of information. I have seen this same plan from dice and ea with the battlefield games. Im telling you this game will be trash, it wont be a true mmo. the sacrifices that are needed to be made in order for it to work on all platforms will gut everything. Think im over reacting? well, look at bf2, then look at bf3. pc had in game voip with squads of 6 people. being squad leader meant that you had a mini map menu with like 12 icons and tools that you could show your whole squad on a map and make a plan. there was a real commander mode with interlocking capability with the maps, supply and intelligence. is any of this in the "next gen, high tech, super duper, platform spanning masterpiece" bf3? Now, you will say that these new ps4 or whatever are better then the last generation and the differences wont skew the games development. well, look where we are now. 2014 release and you cant tell me that all of this talk about "phasing" has not been alarming from day one. it never sounded like a true pc mmo to me. Age of conan was the best game for a long time. i dont know why people let the games decline take away from the example of pc gaming excellence it brought to us. pvp will never be good again as long as we let these game devs BAIT AND SWITCH us. it is now a fact teso was designed for xbox and ps4 from day one like bf3 was with the excuse of phasing and player choices to cover up the highly instanced design.
