Hello everyone, my name is Brent Hauserman. I am a fairly new Elder Scrolls fan, having played the games for only a few months now. I have also only played Skyrim and Oblivion. However, that is not the point of this topic.

The Elder Scrolls: The Dark Prophecy is an upcoming story I am working on based off of the Elder Scrolls series. It is set in the fifth era and on a completely different continent than Tamriel, taking things to an entirely new level.

However, I cannot do this alone. Though I have a lot of creativity, this is something I need and want help with. Whether it be characters, histories, areas, etc. I will give all the basic information about the land, races, etc. I ask for character ideas to include in the story. I ask for ideas for more characters, including what they do, where they are, etc. I ask for minor characters as well as major ones.

More information will be posted as things progress. Right now I am not ready to start the story, but I hope to be soon. I just need a little help getting there.

Continent
*********
The continent on which Dark Prophecy takes place is called Kalheim. It's geographical location would be to the east of Tamriel beyond Yokuda. Kalheim is a land that is still in it's early stages. It does not have a lot of big, fancy architecture, but is more down to earth. Kalheim includes geographical land types such as mountain ranges, forests, rivers, lakes, plains, and even a volcanic terrain.

Politics
*******
Kalheim is run by the Monarchical Hierarchy. In charge of the entire continent is King Lorcan Bren-Gard VIII. He has divided the land into nine provinces, each run by a Lord or Lady. The provinces and their leaders are as follows;

Frosthaven: King Lorcan Bren-Gard VIII
North Shore: Lord Scion Maizner
Debeion: Lord Dreipak Rehavuun
Orchar: Lady Selica Chavkarg
Heltreid: Lady Roma Heltreid
Ulto Crale: Lady Nahum Ahita
Eltoac: Lady Cissare Tormei
Yorsaiid: Lady Erisia Harmin
Serania: Lord Chi'Kata Toaba

There is also the tenth, unofficial province of Kalheim entitled Mornscar Isle, which rests to the south of Serania. It is uninhabited due to it's volcanic landscapes and lack of natural sunlight.

Races
********
There are seven new races native to the continent of Kalheim; two human races, two beast races, and three elf races. They are as follows;

Sarem: A human race native to the province of Heltreid. Warriors in spirit and heart, they are skilled with the blade and quick to battle.

Tetornians: A human race native to the provinces of Frosthaven and North Shore. Best suited for spells, they often practice at the Mage's College in Frosthaven to hone their skills. They are quick-witted and intellegent, studious and intrigued.

Vorghun: A beast race native to the province of Orchar. Large and volatile, they are savages with brutal weaponry. Vicious and unforgiving, they will look for any reason to fight. Skilled with blunt weapons.

Caloran: A beast race native to the province of Serania. Also known as the Water Demons, the Caloran are an aquatic, regal race. They respect power and submit to authority. They are intelligent and highly skilled in combat, often using tridents and hand weapons.

Ermer: An elven race native to the province of Eltoac. Also known as Gnomes, the Ermer are an architectural race, known for their amazing building designs. They are skilled with originality and creativeness and often use hand-made weapons.

Saimer: An elven race native to the province of Yorsaiid. One of the competing races from Yorsaiid, the Saimer are also known as the silent elves. They are famous for their speed and stealth in attacking and often use daggers, bows, and the such.

Stormer: An elven race native to the province of Yorsaiid. One of the competing races from Yorsaiid, the Stormer are also known as the storm elves. They are wild and carefree and are known as the best archers in all of Kalheim. They are practiced in not only archery, but speech as well. They craft their own specialty weapon known as the Wind Blade.

Main Characters
***************
There are four main characters in The Dark Prophecy. Their information is as follows;

Riroden Orkraft: Stormer, adopted son of Lady Roma Heltreid, merchant. Adopted by Heltreid's Lady Roma two years following the death of his parents in war, Riroden is a peaceful Stormer who runs a shop. However, upon the breaking of the Blood Seal Pact made by the nine provinces, he is called by Lady Roma to unite the provinces once again. He is 23 years old and long black hair tied into a ponytail. He uses his late fathers twin-edged sword, Talliellison.

Serarro Viiren: Tetornian, orphan, warrior. A warrior for hire from the city of Orgeil in Eltoac, Serarro Viiren is a muscled, clean-shaven fighter. He is brutal and uses a war-axe, which he dubs The Decapitator. He is 30 years old and is hired by Riroden Orkraft to assist in the reuniting of Kalheim.

Ni'haku Toaba: Caloran, princess, daughter of Lord Chi'kata Toaba of Serania. A beautiful Caloran princess who rejects her rich lifestyle. She runs away from Serania and meets Riroden on her journeys. She is smart, cocky, but caring at the same time. She stole her families prized artifact, the legendary falcata sword called Neptune's Might.

Calcifer Blood-Omen: Stormer, vampire, evil. Calcifer Blood-Omen was a vampire from the third era who took over all of Kalheim. He was merciless, evil, and violent. He would kill his own men happily and planned to rule over the land forever. Nearing the end of the third era, he was defeated and killed by a warrior named Aeran Orkraft, but he would return, and more powerful than ever.

Story
*******
Everything is peaceful in the land of Kalheim. The nine provinces are working together to form a united land, worthy of the divines protection. However, one of the provinces soon goes rogue, breaking the Blood Seal Pact made to unify the continent. On the verge of war, Kalheim calls for a hero. Meanwhile, in the city of Heltreid, Riroden Orkaft is a simple merchant, selling rare and valuable artifacts. When his adopted mother, Lady Roma Heltreid, calls upon him, he is cast into a journey to reunite the lands and restore peace. However, he soon finds out that an ancient evil has returned to Kalheim to once more take it over.

I can see you have put a lot of work and thought into this, I do however think this is a bit of a stretch to still lable it TES :\ This is pretty much entirely fan-fic since Bethesda has nothing to do with this and it's purely a fruit of your own. Perhaps an idea to remove the TES-lable and make it an individual RP-project? Those can be lots of fun, as well as any game/book-related roleplay.

The problem with removing it from the TES-label would be that it still is Elder Scrolls related. There is a lot of ES lore and etc. in it. From foods to people mentioned, guilds, etc. Plus it does take place on Nirn and a lot of Tamriel's history will be mentioned, including stuff from Skyrim and Oblivion times.

It is my own style and holds a lot of new things, and I do appreciate your feedback, but this is still an Elder Scrolls project. And here's a bit of a spoiler, but there will be a sequel fan fiction to this that goes to Tamriel.
