Isaakin Vitrúlfur sat in the Bannered Mare with Miasmador. Her clothes were itchy and she was too warm. Smoke lingered about the room, disappearing whenever anyone came in. The wooden chairs were uncomfortable and scraped noisily across the floor when someone sat down or stood up. It was her first time in Whiterun and she was nervous. She banished any bad thoughts and sipped her ale, staring into the fire. Someone slammed down their drink and she jumped, trying not to show how scared she was. Miasmador sat calmly next to her,
"Don't worry, the more you worry the more likely it is that you'll change."
"I know, I just can't help it."
She drank the last of the ale, letting it run down her throat. She quietly put it down and realised her hands were shaking. She turn back to Miasmador,
"I'm gonna go get some fresh air..."
They stood up at the same time, there was no chance Miasmador would let Isaakin alone in the city. She let Miasmador drink the last of her ale quickly and then started towards the door, only to be grabbed on the arm by Miasmador. Quietly her friend said,
"Don't rush, It will not help you to be calmer."
Isaakin nodded then took a deep breath. They sat on the bench beneath the tree. A cold breeze ruffled their hair an was a nice contrast to the stuffiness of the inn. They could see the tiny dots of lights, guards with their torches. Water ran in a circle around the tree and Isaakin dipped her fingers in, feeling the water run between her fingers. A guard passed her by and grunted a quick,
"Dirty foreigner."
Before passing by. The guards changed watch, they had improved weapons, sharpened steel, after all, there was more crime at night. She went and sat by to Miasmador who had closed her eyes and seemed to be asleep. A rustling came from the branches above them. 'The wind.' A twig fell in front of her, snapped, as if someone had stepped on it. She jumped up and stared into the branches above her. Someone sat there with what looked like a bow and arrow, pointed at her. Her breath quickened, her heart beated faster and she started to feel pains in her body. The figure saw she had seen him and spoke,
"If you want your friend to live then you won't move."
He moved his bow so it was pointing at Miasmador. She considered waking up Miasmador but, as if the man had read her mind he said,
"And don't worry, she won't wake. I put sleeping draught into her ale."
"Wolf!" She remembered with relief the wolf-dog... Then remembered Miasmador had said he would attract unwanted attention in the city. She was starting to feel pains all over her and despite the cold wind she was too hot. She doubled over and heard the thief in the tree laughing,
"Drunken idiot.'
She could feel the change coming one her and she shook her head. 'Why now...'
Then she cried out one last time, "Miasmador..." Before her beast side took over. The cold wind blew through the chimneys, echoing the howl that rang through Whiterun. There were cries of surprise as one of the guards was taken down. Blood spurted in all directions and she fed. The guards surrounded her and she slashed and growled, tearing through them. She turned her back to kill a guard and another took the opportunity, slamming the hilt of his sword to her head. Her eyesight started to give way and several managed to get her to the ground. She growled, baring her blood covered teeth and snapping, trying to get the guards to let go of her. One of them slammed the hilt of their dagger to knock her out. Just as her sight darkened and started to fade she saw Miasmador, standing helplessly, distraught and unable to help.

She awoke, the rags they had given her for clothes barely keeping her warm. As her eyesight adjusted she realised she was in the Whiterun prison. She sat down on the chair and put her head in her hands, close to tears. She glared at the guards, 'it was the thief in the tree that should be in this damn cell'. She looked up as she heard a commotion coming from another room. Miasmador barged in past the guards and walked over to Isaakin's cell. She got up quickly and wiped away any stray tears. She passed over to the prison bar, face to face with Miasmador. As calm and certain as ever Miasmador whispered,
"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here."

I like how well Isaakin is described! Her anxiousness and perhaps insecurity are quite clearly depicted early on. Was it the sense of distress that caused her to shift and attack those guards? Whatever the case, it seems more fathers and sons won't be returning home that night.

The thief's intentions are quite obscure, which makes him seem more sinister in nature. I look forward to seeing how things turn out.

Character Profiles:
Endaros Ilmori - Buoyant Armiger
Sunrio - Aldmeri Justiciar

Taren Jucanis - Imperial Deserter (Used for The Black Shroud RP)

Thanks, I didn't know if I should do the other part but with a bit of feedback I think I might. :)
