So I made this thread for all you walking dead fans out there just like myself, so we have a place to rant/ talk about the show outside of facebook and twitter. There's just way too many posts on those sites, and I don't know about you guys but I definitely don't want to scroll through all that.

Topics we could discuss:
- What do you think will happen next in the show or what would you like/want to see happen?
- If you could bring back a character who would it be and why?
- Who are your favourite characters?
- or you could simply just rant about what you've seen so far

I was going to make a post about it too after the latest episode, it was absolutely fantastic, I seriously hope that Daryl and Merle can find a way to merge into the group. Daryl is by far my favourite character, because he's a tank.
There really needs to be more people added to the group, because right now there's only 9 including the baby.

To me there's a potential for 12 members total to be in the group over the next few episodes, not accounting for any more randoms strolling in:
-Rick
-Carl
-Judith
-Glenn
-Maggie
-Hershel
-Beth
-Carol
-Michonne
-Daryl
-Merle
-Andrea

Tyreese and Sasha are also still wandering around, and they seemed non hostile.

Okay to start things off:

- What do you think will happen next in the show or what would you like/want to see happen?
I'm not really to sure what will happen next, the show is just so unpredictable, but I do think that the group should stay in the prison. With a crying baby who could attract walkers and with Hershel only having one leg it could definitely slow them down or get them all killed.

- If you could bring back a character who would it be and why?
If I could bring back a character it would have to be Dale. Why? because I felt like he kept the group together. He was always there to comfort and reason with the people inside the group (although most of them took it as him being invasive). He provided his RV which came in really useful for travelling and when they were surrounded by walkers, and he was a pretty good watch guard.

- Who are your favourite characters?
My favourite character by far is Daryl, b/c he's just so freaken awesome! He carries around a kick-ass crossbow, he's loyal and has a kind heart (even though he doesn't like to show it) what more could you want!?

*Spoiler Alert*
So I just finished watching the latest episode and I have some ranting/questions.
- What in the hell was Rick doing searching around for "ghosts" in a time that the group needed him most? I mean I understand that he's devastated that he lost his wife and a whole bunch of other people but common enough is enough! He's going to end up dead or loosing more people if he continues to go off into lala land.
- Now that Merle is back is he going to get his revenge on Rick for leaving him behind in the city or will he for once "play nice"? (which i doubt)
- What's gonna happen to Andrea when she finds out that the governor went to kill her friends?
- Whatever happened to that group that Rick scared off? will we see them again?
- And lastly what's going to happen to Maggie and Glen's relationship? seems like there's a lot of tension going on there and their slowly starting to come apart.

My Views:

-Rick has been going insane ever since Lori's death, I genuinely think that he could get himself killed, but I don't think that they'd be willing to write him off. If I'm honest though, I'm not too bothered about Axel's death, I didn't like him anyway.

-Daryl seems to be more loyal to the group than Merle, and I think if anyone can influence Merle into behaving himself, it's got to be Daryl, but I think when it comes to it, he'd be quite willing to put a bolt in the back of his head if it meant keeping the group from harm.

-Andrea is probably going to end up back in the group eventually, but I don't like her anyway so I couldn't care less about what happens to her.

-I hope Tyreese and Sasha make a return, because I thought they were decent characters and Tyreese is a beast! But the other half of his group were plotting an attempt to overthrow the prison, so they're still a potential threat.

-Maggie appears quite scarred by the events that took place in Woodbury, and Glenn can't seem to recognize that she just needs some time alone, but hopefully the latest episode will be a bit of a wake up call to them both, things could have turned out differently if Glenn was where he should have been, but he did save Hershel, so at least something positive came from him going walkabouts.

That's what I thought too but then again they did write off Lori and she was an important role, so who knows. I was kinda starting to like Axel. He was finally starting to open up and let out his past that he wasn't a bad person after all...then he gets shot.

-Daryl seems to be more loyal to the group than Merle, and I think if anyone can influence Merle into behaving himself, it's got to be Daryl, but I think when it comes to it, he'd be quite willing to put a bolt in the back of his head if it meant keeping the group from harm.

I don't know Merle kind of has his own mindset. Maybe Daryl could control/influence him for awhile but I don't think it would last. I don't think Daryl would kill him either, maybe just injure him but definitely not kill his own blood.

-Andrea is probably going to end up back in the group eventually, but I don't like her anyway so I couldn't care less about what happens to her.

I agree, I think she will realize that the governor is just using her and that he has once again tried to kill her friends so she'll end up heading to the prison. Don't really want her to either she's kind of annoying and dumb.

-I hope Tyreese and Sasha make a return, because I thought they were decent characters and Tyreese is a beast! But the other half of his group were plotting an attempt to overthrow the prison, so they're still a potential threat.

I think they will either return, or if the group leaves the prison that they will find them on their travel. I agree that Tyreese and Sasha seem like good people but those other people that they are with not so much, so they'd have to get rid of them somehow.

-Maggie appears quite scarred by the events that took place in Woodbury, and Glenn can't seem to recognize that she just needs some time alone, but hopefully the latest episode will be a bit of a wake up call to them both, things could have turned out differently if Glenn was where he should have been, but he did save Hershel, so at least something positiv[/color]e came from him going walkabouts.

I don't think time can heal something like that, I mean she's terrified by the whole event, and Glen is mostly thinking about himself and how the whole situation has affected him so I'm not quite sure that they will be able to recover.

@grimmjow

Yes the show is based on the comics, but it's not 100% the same. There's A LOT of things that are different between the two, but the writer is still the same in both.

for example Daryl dosn't exsist in the comics, an Dayle didn't die the same way

as for your questions:
1. I have no idea what will happen in the next eppisode, I personly hope the survivers can get a larger group (saftey in Numbers) and I hope someone will put a bullet in the governers other eye...
2. Like you I would bring back Dale, he seemed to be the soul of the group guiding the others away from self destruction.
3. My favorite characters would be, Rick and Daryl. I loved the changes the characters go through, like how Rick started off as a white knigt but as he goes on, his shinny armor gets worn and fades. And who dosn't like a badass redneck that actually tries to better the group.

your other questions...
1. Rick has finally snaped and i think they should try to have Hurshel help him. Dale could have been perfect for this situation, but hes pushing up daiseys
2. Maryl will have to play nice, esspecially with his little brother as 2nd in command
3. I hope she either rejoins the survivors, or puts a bullete in the gov' other eye (not a big fan of hers, but as I said many times the survivers need all the people the can get.)
4. I hope so, there is safty in numbers and most of those guys seem like they could handle themselves in a fight, giving the survivers a boost in manpower agiast the governor.
5. there going to have to get over it, i'm not sure how or when, but i think they will eventually

@Cadian13 haha I really want someone to put another bullet in the governors other eye as well, but more importantly... he's gotta die this time.

I don't know if Hershel can help a delusional man...specially since Rick doesn't like listening to anyone except for himself. It took him this long to even tell Hershel that he was seeing "ghosts" or in the words of Robert Kirkman "Memories". I'm just hoping that with time he will snap out of it before he ends up killing himself or other people in the process.

It seemed like he got a wake up call at the end when they were attacked and Daryl returned! I think I saw a Faint little smile and nod.

Daryl's also my fav, Best line from last episode: meryl: i beat the chinese kid to half death. Daryl: he's Korean. i was like hell yesssss

@KayNine yeah I saw the faint smile and nod as well, but I don't know if that was him pissed off and wanting revenge or him actually realizing that his delusions are affecting the group and making them weak.

Haha yes! that was my favourite line as well. I was like "Damn right Daryl, you tell him!" :P

I think the recent episode, "Clear", was one of the best episodes this season.

I think it was refreshing to have an episode with an entire mini-story with a beginning and end without a cliffhanger or open ending.

Michonne talked in this episode more than she has the entire season! I almost thought it was out of character for her, but I figured this is one of the rare cases where she wasn't in a suspicious/tense situation so she loosened up a bit.

It was also cool to see Morgan again. Before his reveal I was thinking, "Oh hey, they're back at Rick's town. I wonder whatever happened to Morgan and his son." But I didn't think he was the gun man until they took off the mask which was a pretty surprising reveal. His story was pretty sad.

I had this funny idea that the random guy with the orange backpack could be an ongoing joke for the entire series. Like he just pops up in random areas and times going "HEYYY! HELP ME!" and they always just ignore him and leave him. Of course this would've been terrible and out-of-character for the show, but it was an amusing thought.

Him just ending up torn to shreds at the end says something profund.
