Hi everyone,

I have bought the Imperial edition, which gives me acess to treasure maps.

With my first character, I have picked them from the mail. I have searched already several of them, when I find a treasure, the map dissapears. But assuming that I want to change character will I be able to give the remaining maps to another character? I didn't suceed until now. The gear is quite helpful to level up :)

Is it the same with mara rings? (didn't try until now...)
And for Mara ring, can you change spouse as wanted or you are just bound to one person (no divorce allowed)

Thanks for your answers

a lot of people deleted their first character which had all of their collector stuff, so it's binded to the first character you make, but i'm pretty sure if you put it in the bank and make another character it will be in the bank... ?

Not exactly true. The CE stuff retrievable from any character you make, but can only be retrieved ONCE. Example, you could retrieve the stuff from your mail on you 4th or 5th character, but it will become unavailable to all other characters. The main issue was people retrieving the gear on their first character, then deleting it not knowing it was a one-time deal.

Also, you can in fact put the maps and pets in your bank, then all of your characters will have access to them.

The first fact is true, I actually retrieved the maps and one pet with the second character I made. The ring and another pet are still in the mail.

I just found out we can put the map individually into the bank, However, we cannot put "a bag of maps" in the bank, we have to put them one by one, which uses quite a lot of space. I prefer sacrificing some slot on my char until I will need to open "the maps bag"...
The scuttler pet can also be given to another char by the mean of the bank.

I agree with this.

@Do'Rakk: What is "CE?" I checked the 'LagKills' "Glossary of Online Gaming Acronyms, Abbreviations and Slang" and I don't see it. Is it special content for special editions?

And I have the ring, labelled as "bind on pickup," in my inbox for my current char that I intend to trash. That may be problematic. Now if it was "bind on equip," that would be different; the Q is, do I have to 'pick it up' to put it into another e-mail to my next char? 'Cause that would bind it. But I think I read somewhere that "bound" items just cannot be sold to merchants, that you can still transfer/sell to other players/chars and they can still equip it, but they can't sell it to a merchant. Is that how it works?

CE = collector's edition, aka imperial edition

I was surprised when i became aware of this one time thing as i nearly deleted my character. I created one, didn't like then spent a good chunk making one. After playing several hours i was so close to deleting it, this is a long haul thing so you gotta get it right at the start. Lucky i went to find out if i could make one the same (i only wanted to maybe add body marks) but i could not get anything close to what i have so left well enough alone, the next day i become aware of the one time thing, man i would have been po'd.

Well I tried to mail it, had to "take" the attachment to get the possibility. It became bound. You can't send mail to yourself, not even to another of your char. So I deposited it in the bank. Perhaps the "bind" is to the player, not the char?

I was able to take the ring scroll from the bank W/my other char. After all this, I now realize that my mail is associated with my username, not my char. So I would have simply taken the mail with the other char - as most of you know (duh). Well live and learn.
