UGH SOMEONE PLS HELP

Okay, so lucky me, right? I have a code for the Early Access or whatever and I have the ability to log into the Elder Scrolls website but when I go to log into the client, it tells me my userID and password are incorrect? I've tried changing my password and everything. This is so insane! I just want to play. I've called/emailed TESO like five billion times and the only thing that they recommend is changing my password. IM ANNOYED OK?! This is getting really annoying and I'm getting so frustrated. Way to go Bethesda..

The Beta is over, so if you haven't purchased the game, I would say that is the problem. If you have purchased the game and still can't get in, then I don't have an answer for you, sorry.

I do have the game. I bought the collector crap, and nobody has been able to help me at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the client multiple times and I'm so ready to throw my hands up and download something more useful, like pizza. This is so overrated.

Hmm, the only other thing I can think of that might be the problem, is that when you bought the game you should have received a code for the early access, and depending on what version and where you bought it from I think the code should have either been on your receipt, or e-mailed to you. Did you receive this code?

Yes, I've received the first and second emails with both codes and have entered both. The client simply tells me my userID or password is incorrect with what they have on file... I'm literally about ready to blow my brains out.

Apparently some other people are having this problem too. I would contact their customer support directly and have them do what they can to help sort things out.

My UserID for the forum is different to my UserID that I use to log-in to the actual game with.

Could it be a simple-case of your UserID being weird?

I felt similar stress and frustration before, I tried to use the wrong UserID and couldn't work out which out of the three it was. Not straight away anyway.

What happened when you changed your password? You've done the most sensible thing doing that already, but yeah. . . Z3nim@x pls.

@Yungraaae,, Hi, I had a similar problem and ended up having to email support. My problem was fixed. They send me a reply within 1 day.
I also want to add that I have had this password/Name login problem, when logging into the game several times, but only because the server was down and that is what came up as an answer. Later when the server came up I was okay.
The next thing I will tell you is that I was screwed for the Forums Official too before retail because I had borrowed a Beta Key from someone who had already signed up and while I could log into the game It would not let me log into the beta forums because I did not have his name and password. Now that retail has come I am okay.
Sorry if this doesn't help but that's all the info I have on it.

Try disabling your AV/firewall just long enough to log in, then re-enable it. If it works, then you know what to fix. If not, it eliminates that possibility.


Skyrim conquerer. Morrowind and Oblivion vet. Long-time single-player computer gamer W/custom-made hi-perf OCd PC. Mostly RTS and a few action games.
Noob to MMOs.
Crappy satellite Internet very laggy pings 700-1000 not god for gaming, can't play most online games but ESO works good enough.
