About Vaermina's Children (PS4)
Main
THIS GUILD IS PS4 ONLY

"With that, she pulled the void away, and for hours each night she would reveal to Darius the most horrible perversions of nature. Men being skinned and eaten alive by other men, unimaginable beasts of many limbs and mouths, entire populations being burned -- their screams filled his every evening."
―Unknown in Sixteen Accords of Madness, Book IX

Only few have awoken from a long peaceful night with our Queen, and the ones that have are fearless, for no monster or threat is greater than the nightmare experienced with Vaermina.

We are a shadowy guild that follows the Daggerfall Covenent. We believe no other faction can contribute more to our Queen. Our objective is simple. Crown a King in Cyridil, and to bring to light our beloved mother.

Ranks:

Celestial: Direct contact with the Queen. What she says goes, no objections. The highest authority in the guild and are rarely seen in battle... When they are seen, all hell breaks loose and the wrath of Vaermina is unleashed. Everything your officers tell you comes straight from the Celestial which originates from our Queen.

Visionary: Not necessarily a rank, more of a responsibility these are the guards of the Celestial. Sent on the most dangerous missions, usually alone. But if possible at times will be accompanied by a few Dreamers.

Dreamer: Those of us who speak with Vaermina and spread her message. When in combat usually seen commanding armies. Only way to become a Dreamer is to be appointed by a Dreamer.

Listener: High ranking officials that are the dreamer's most trusted individuals when it comes to information. things are set and stone the Listener's are first to hear. They also command raids and are in essence, Generals. They are to be feared upon arriving on the battlefield.

Giver: The givers are one of the most important titles. They spread the message of Vaermina to the lower ranks and also give them quests and or objectives to retrieve items or something that may benefit the guild. Though not seen commanding armies they are to be feared on the battlefield.

The Enlightened: Foot soldiers, though obtaining the same responsibilities as the previous ranks, the Enlightened make up most of Vaernima's Children. They are on the front lines whenever a fight is needed. Either guarding a high ranking official or destroying entire enemy squads The Enlightened are to be feared. Other than being foot soldiers they are given more difficult missions and objectives from higher officials.

Believers: The bottom of the barrel. If you want to be a soldier complete a series of tasks passed to you by a Giver.

About Us: A small group of gamer's at the moment.

What We Do: PVP. and PVE also we want to this guild to be fairly social. We aren't going to be like most guilds and beg you to join some of our battles...Okay maybe we will at first, point is we want people in our guild to interact with each other. We don't do Role Play though some aspects of our guild revolve around it and so it could use the creativity.

Who We Want: Obviously no trash talk, racism, sexism, anything you know wouldn't be appropriate. Age preferably over 14 though exceptions can be made. We need to respect our enemies, EVEN if they don't respect us. It's about being the better person.

Who We Want (Game Wise) Dedicated players. Players that will stick to our guild and not leave it. We want an active player base as most guilds do. We don't necessarily have a preference to what class or player we want in the guild. This is freaking ESO who are we to take away your player creating experience? I will say though...Vaernima does love magic.

Ranking up in the Guild: We won't know until the game is released until then we only have some ideas. However the first few people to join will automatically have high ranks in the guild.

Joining: Simple, just put put your PSN username below and we'll contact you when the game releases. If you have questions regarding the guild send me a message or leave a comment.

Also if you so happen to decide to join another guild last moment please let us know as we do not want to hunt you down just so you can tell us you're with another group of players. Anyway hope to see you all when the game comes out!!

You are listing style of play as hardcore, I am a PlayStation user so this would be the first guild I ever take part in. Would it still be all right?

Definitely, just leave your PSN username here in the comment section and I'll get back to you the day of ESO release. Other than that if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer. Smiling

We are a small guild as of now and am hoping to grow into something big. No need to worry there are more members. Not a lot, but enough to start with.

Cool! It's probably because they are too afraid of Quagmire. Poor souls.

Hi I just want to leave a quick cv before I post my PSN name to see if you want me.
I'm a 13 year old male but please read on and check my profile page for detailed info about myself. I'm skilled in the understanding of warfare and politics and am not an immature idiot who is unpleasant even to his own. I could provide a detailed element of strategy and research to the alliance giving an upper hand in battle. I won't go into detail on what tactics I would employ because I would fill a whole word document with the process I would go through to ensure victory but till the game comes out and strategy is tested I cant say how it my strategy will handle but I hope to get a beta invite to test my theory's on mechanics and tactics. In essence though they work in real life since they are tested throughout history. Just to hint though I will use a mixture of Napoleons basic rules, republic roman (to an extent) tactics and a bit of early renaissance in some cases. I will also follow a basic pre-battle perpetration for the army which invokes scouting, I will also include the holy trinity. If your interested in my skills then tell me but if your not I don't take offence since I am 13.

My signature says it all really, it sums me up.

13 and you sound intelligent. No offense but that's a rarity. You'll work well within our ranks and I think I may already have an idea of where to put you. You obviously have extensive knowledge about warfare and I agree most of the tactics you've mentioned at least briefly have been carried out through history. I'm unaware of how these tactics could be applied to an MMO. Reason being most of the people in our guild have little experience with them, but enough to understand how a guild works.

I don't mind making an exception to allow you in the guild, you seem rational enough.

Yes I know about my age being immature on the Internet, I find it hard as a result to get into things because we're stereotyped, a lot. I can see how they may work but if they don't add some kind of chat option it's going to fall apart, there is Skype though but everyone needs an account. They will work if everyone is willing to follow someone who can command and are patient, I will follow a basic formation, not as organised as Rome because its an mmo but a formation non the less which will change from battle to battle depending on scout reports.

Ok sorry for the time but (I think) my PSN is AceMan52128, you won't get a quick reply because I'm on holiday and if it doesn't work then when I get back I'll check what it is and post the correct one.

Hello. I've read the thread and I'm very much interested. I plan to be a Breton assassin, and I feel like I could be a great member of your guild. I also plan on purchasing a play station 4 but do not have a ps3. Thus I have no way of communicating with you over psn. Please email me at thefrequentgamer@gmail.com

Please contact me there. I would really like to join your guild and I don't want to be excluded because I don't own a ps3

That's completely fine. Personally I don't own a Playstation 3 either. For the past few years I've been an Xbox fanboy, but after witnessing what I did at E3 I decided Sony was the better choice this generation. I'm planning on purcahsing a PS4 the first day of release. I'm deciding if it will be then that I will start contacting members. If not then I'd wait until ESO does.

As far as your email goes I'll keep it in mind, but we're not planning on contacting guild members for awhile. As far as I'm concerned your already part of Vaermina's family. Anyway thanks for taking interest and I can't wait to see you on ESO if you have any questions just ask them right here. Thanks!

Don't worry about it. We won't be contacting guild members on PSN for awhile. Enjoy your Holiday. :)

That sounds good.

I do, however, have just two questions. Do you guys have, or plan on, building a website? For if not, I could attempt to build one myself. If not that's fine, I was just putting out the offer.

Secondly, I'm particularly interested in the Listener rank within the guild. From what I've read, it seems like that position would fit me most. Is there any way I could possibly say or do anything that would help me earn that position when The Elder Scrolls Online is released? Thanks.
