Why did you choose Daggerfall? Was it simply because you've always played a Breton/Orc/Redguard? Was it because you thought they were the underdogs? Was it because you agree with their policies? Or was it because you were inspired by that Breton rogue in the Aliiances video?

In all honesty, I was inspired by the Breton in the video, I know, disappointing. I also always play a human race in every rpg game I play (All my TES characters were Imperial). However I did not want to be a Nord because I see a Nord to be more of a warrior type class and I wish to make a ranger. I'm currently planning on being a Breton although, I may change my race to Redguard. I also hate the elves in TES.

Also because they are the underdog, who doesn't like the underdog?

I chose the Covenant after reading some of the GameInformer articles back in May(?). DC appeals to me the most out of the three alliances because of the political and organized nature of the faction. From there it was hard to choose a race, but I eventually settled on Redguard after deciding to create the Kynaran Order.

The Daggerfall Covenant being the underdog is a plus for me as well.

I agree with the faction's ideology the most. It isn't as full of itself as the Dominion, and it isn't as war-crazed as the Pact. And the King seems like a reasonable and intelligent fellow.

Plus, the alliance seems like it could be the strongest. The Redguards are connected to the Bretons through royal marriage. Plus, the redguards original home was lost, and they found some new footing near the Bretons territory. The orcs are being recognized as a province, and not just random barbarian hordes. I think the respect levels among the three races are the highest compared to the others. Due to the fact the Dominion is run by the high elves, while the others play sort of henchmen roles. The Pact, all the races could be equally dominant, but they all hate each other. I expect much internal fighting so each race can try to lead.

You have Redguards who are great all around melee fighters. Orcs are great armorers and melee fighters. Bretons are one of the best jack-of-all-trades races. Magic. Stealth. Archery. Melee. Whatever you fancy.

Duty is heavier than a mountain. Death...lighter than a feather.

I just think they have that edge compared to other factions

Bretons - going to make fantastic arcane users, really looking forward to seeing how these play
Orcs - one of the strongest races in the game, and if true to TES one of the highest amounts of stamina.
Redguard- The sword in the shadow, going to be good for rangers, assassins and scouts

Orcs have always been the strong races of all MMOG's from WoW to LoTR (Lok'tar OGAR - STRENGTH AND HONOUR) If you've played Horde in wow, then i think the DC is up your street as there seen as the underdogs, groups banding together for convenience, very much like the Horde in wow, that's whats drawn me to them.

I decided upon DC after comparing the different political and cultural situations behind each alliance and thought that DC's was the best out of the three. I liked the ruggedness and stoic nature of the RedGuard. I like their values of their inner strength and their resilience to survive.

Always play orc. The ideals of our democracy was a big perk though. So was not having the biggest, flashiest races: If your DC, you want to be DC, not like your some crazy real life furry or scaley (no offense to anthros.)

Because Daggerfall was an awesome game, first of all. Secondly, I'm going to make a good character out of a "normal" concept-race, instead of making a derp character from a fanboy concept-race ;P
