What do you hope ESO learn and take from other MMO's?

Now when a new big name MMO is released everybody talks about all the new, original, and amazing stuff that's going to be in the game, which is great. However, what are some things you would like to see in ESO which have been taken/modified from other games? It can literally be anything, from a simple looking for group tool too a guild ranking system etc.. literally anything.

I'm going to start with just one thing taken from one MMO but I will add more in future posts here.

First off I'm going to go with the server first messages which Rift introduced for when a player/guild are the first to kill a boss/earn a big achievement on their server. A large emote comes across the middle of the screen for every player on the server, for example it simply states "So and so of the guild <so and so> was the first on the server to defeat (Boss name)". Now with the way Zenimax are introducing the 'One big server' I think this could really take off for the top tier/hardcore gaming community in ESO, whether it's PvE or PvP when a big achievement is earned the whole region (EU/NA) get a message across the screen to inform them that a guild/player was the first in their region to earn it.

This something really small that probably wouldn't make much difference to the majority of people playing the game, but it's just something that began to really grow on me and became important for a lot of guild while raiding in Rift.

So what do you guys want to see? :)

I would like to see a lot taken from Everquest 2 which is at present my favorite game. The foraging and crafting and selling/buying on the player market are features that I enjoy and I furnish my houses and cloth my toons much more from the market than the Sony Coin store where you pay in dollars. Also the huge variety in EQ2, you could never run out of things to do in Norrath.

From Shadowbane I'd like to get the large group raid feel - no other game made it so real as SB for me. And I was just a healer, but everyone matters in a raid.

I think a lot from DAoC will be present in ESO, another game that I enjoyed a great deal. I hear people talk about the raiding there; but I only teamed up with my hubby in DAoC so I don't know about the raiding aspect.

From LOTRO I'd like to get the homey, familiar feeling of "I've been here before" which I think may have imparted from the movie. Probably all of us TES fans will get this dejavue in ESO.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

Well when i was playing The Secret World, your character was not "bound" to a class, meaning today you can play as tank and then swap gear and ability's and become a healer. I hope to see option to "change/switch" your class, lets say you pick Dragon Knith but around lvl 25 you dont like it and want to try Sorcerer, you can go to capital city pay your gold "fine" and change to another class, BUT you wont be same level as your DK class, you will need to start and level your class lvl from 1. That way even if you end the game you still get the chance to lvl a whole new class without the need of creating new character.

Yeah I hope for this too.

One thing I hope they learn is for the love of all that is holy , NO P2W cash shop , I don't mind vanity items ( to a certain extent and within the confines of lore) but please , no power up pots , no OP weps and armor etc etc pleeeease lol...

I am hoping to see a realm rank system like DAOC had for PVP endgame. mainly where the progression became very hard but you were still always working to make your character better. 99.999% never would come close to hitting the cap, I thought that was the ultimate End Game, as it kept people building there charcters after max level for years. I belive it took someone in DAOC 8 years to hit that realm rank 13 cap

Without evil, we would not recognize good.

Remember, true focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity
