The problem with sticking with just one character and one faction is that you will miss 2/3's of the PvE content in the game that way. With faction and race locks in place it becomes mandatory that you play all three factions or like I said you are kind of "jipping" yourself out of 2/3's of the game.

Thats why there is so much discussion about faction locks, it forces you to play two alts if you want to see the whole game.

I guess I'm not most people and could careless about having just one character. I never played just one character in any MMO. I guess if your that minded person, you should go with EP. I will be on AD at first until I get my main maxed out or I find the need to explore new lands. My second character will be on DC, I figure by the time I get my main maxed and my DC pretty close to max the EP will be cleared of the non mmo players by the time I make my way there.

oh and actually its best to roll your alts first day you log in, that way you can usually get the names you want and if you wait until your main is maxed you might have to settle for some other name.

Thats usually what I do on first login, make my main then make all of my alts. Then I play my main to level cap then I pick one of the alts and go with it to level cap and so on.

MMOs dont end.. There is no MAX?? Us MMO players an not TES players Have been playing Everquest, WoW, An what not for 5+ years. In MMOs after you reach "Max" lvl thats when the game really begins with PvP and PvE.

Also Games have done all this "Faction" Based, Locked and Loaded Areas. Nothing TESO is doing is new. Bringing a Single player Game into a MMO setting is dangerous cause Fans of the series WANT to see what every faction has to offer.

Yes, I am all for non locked factions and being able to play any race and live anywhere you want to. However thats not the way Zenimax is doing ESO. Instead they are making three factions and each one has three of the races in it it.

Here is a link to a map that shows the three faction areas with Cyrodiil in the middle, and Cyrodiil is where the realm vs realm vs realm war will take place with the winner getting control of Cyrodiil.

There is more to the war then just that but that is the basic concept..

anyway here is the link.. - TESO faction map

I understand that, An know that.. An im for Locked factions. Why If Im an Orc in battle with EP or AD be able to visit there lands?? Ever faction Game has there factions locked.. Considering Im an MMO player an dont know much of Elder Scrolls at all.. Im not losing content? Im just losing environment.

I belive content too, the storylines will share same basis but it will most likely feel like 3in1 game. And im absolutely fine with it. Having whole world open means hitting max level while you see only 1/3 of it, and why would you visit the rest? For scenery sake only? I dont think so.

Agreed. MMOs are about endgame. When you level in other MMOs, you don't see 100% of the game world as well. When you hit max level, you then only visit the zones that have dungeons or raids. This whole argument about missing out on 60% of the leveling zones is getting old =/

what i mean by sticking to one charecter is that i'll just stick to one charecter mainly and if i get bored ill make some more in other factions
