Setting aside obvious quality of the graphics, what is your favorite style of glass armor in Elder Scrolls games?

Well... if you just look at those pictures, you will probably choose Skyrim.

However, if you take in consideration of the graphics engine changes in the game over the last 10 years (Morrowind release June 2002). I would choose Morrowind, Oblivion glass armor is fugly in my opinion. I would love to see how they "modernize" it more for TESO.

Any but Oblivion.
Voted Morrowind because it blew my mind when I first saw it at Ghostgate.

My fave armor has always been Morrowind Glass. I love the wild untamed look of it. For the sake of realism, the glass armor has been toning down and getting more realistic looking with Oblivion and then more so in Skyrim.

But that isn't what I like about it. I like that it looks like the Dunmer picked up raw shards of green volcanic glass from around Red Mountain and fashioned freakish armor out of it. Don't know if that's the lore behind it but it is what it seems like to me.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

erh. hard to say as im not a fan of either. id say the oblivion one is the worst because it just looks that silly.

the Skyrim one and the morrowind are both kinda fine if a bit over the top. But if youd had the skyrim one in morrowind or the morrowind in skyrim it would look REEAALY out of place.

Skyrim by far. The Morrowind one looks like a giant clusterf***.

By arrow. By blade.
By tooth. By claw.
By shock. By frost. By flame.
The Aldmeri Dominion will dominate Tamriel.
Our enemies will fall until the Throne is ours.

Oblivion glass armour is the absolute worst! It makes you look like a radioactive masquerade party attendee. There is so much filigree, it's hard to suspend your disbelief that you're actually meant to use it rather than just wear it for show.

I used to be a hardcore fan of the Morrowind glass armour, but I've come around to the Skyrim version. Both sets fit very well with their respective regional settings. Morrowind's glass is spiky, exotic and dark, something that definitely fits with the nation of Dark Elves. Skyrim's glass is epic, rugged and visually imposing, which goes very well with Nord culture.

I'm an official fan of both.

Edit: Incidental to this, I really hope that multiple styles of the same armour grade are craftable in ESO. I also hope these styles are nothing like those in TES 3, 4 & 5, since this takes place 1,000 years before. New armour types which were lost over the centuries would be cool as well.

I'm a fan of the Morrowind armor because of the way the glass crystals are like bacon bits sprinkled over an already cool looking dark armor.

Skyrim's is much more of a uniform and well made set.

Oblivion's is fugly.

The image is down, upload it to imgur or maybe to googlepics.
Anyway, i'll vote for the morrowind armor, it was my favourite armor of all time, i used even when i found the daedric one LOL.
The skyrim one i like it, but as the morrowind one there is no other, and you have to think about the Game Engine of both games.
The Oblivion... well... it makes you look like a walking slime hahaha

I've edited the OP to add a working pic. Feel free to switch back to the original, should it become available again.

I'll stay with Skyrim model for its realism... But I really would like to see Morrowind's Glass Armor done with actual graphics enhancements.
About Oblivion one - I think the problem is the collor, not the model shape (maybe using the Skyrim blue-green light collor would add some realistic touch on it).

...Why not mix the 3? Any good 3d designer over here?

I got that mod a while back. It's pretty decent though I'm not a fan of his Bonemold.

Oh the morrowind one for sure, just for the eyes! The OBLIVION one makes me look like some kind of failed super hero (SHINY MAN! THE OBVIOUS SNEAK!) and the skyrim one has a horrible vomit colour to it... the morrowind one is the only one that got the dark green colour right.
