What to expect PC vs. Console?

I am sure that there are hundreds of answers to this question but I'm hoping to get the Imperial Edition for the Xbox One, but my question is what do you think is different from the standard PC version of the game to either Console versions? Do you think they made the map smaller or took out hundreds of interactive items in the game, or took out skills and abilities and customizations?

Anyone who has a "off the top of their head" idea which has most likely been up to date with all TESO information, since I have been a rather skeptic to the idea of this especially since I had a loss of hope for this game and a displeasement to hearing of the monthly fee, and I have been rather too engaged with other things to keep track of this game adequately.

If all they did was scale down graphics, effects, and textures - then I would have zero problem, but if they removed skills or customizations or books and other items... Then I couldn't do it. Not if they only favored PC users for the game. I refuse to pay $800-1400 for a PC that would be able to play it.

Also - does the beta keys work for console also or are they only PC?

The only difference is going to be the UI and controls.

yeah the XBOne and PS4 have system specs that should handle this game very well. maybe in 5 years you can start asking whether xbone and ps4 cant run games as well as pc again ;)

Ive bin wondering this myself, Ive always been a PC gamer (for around 15 years now) but Ive always played RPG games with the XBox Controller, Ive been lucky enough to take part in the last 2 Beta Tests & although it looks amazing I cant help but hate using the Mouse/Keyboard (it just doesn't feel right, making it less enjoyable fun for me personally) so this weekend I tried using the XBox Controller along with some 3rd party programs & I can get it pretty close to comfortable but unfortunately it gives an obvious disadvantage when playing PvP against people with mouses (after almost 2 hours of PvP I had to go back to the Naga lol just to be able to compete). so for this reason Ive been thinking about buying a console for ESO & will be watching this topic closely to see what people think about the differences (if any). Thanks @internalmemory for starting this discussion.
