My favourite armour type is light/medium armour so, my favourite armour set is the Skyrim Nightingale armour.

My reasons for this are that :
  • The pure black really helped to immerse myself in the rp of a master thief and assassin.
  • The enchants helped a lot.
  • IT HAD A CAPE!!!!!!!!

What's yours?

I think the Chitin armour from dragonborn. Even though glass and dragonscale are better, the chitin armour gave me that nostalgic feeling from morrowind.

Moving this to the Blend, since it's not really about ESO and more about TES :)

Oh, how I was always chased by them with my first and main char in Morrowind^^
For some reason, they kept attacking me on sight (only the ones from mournhold, other guards didn't), so before my char became op enough to handle them easily, I always had to run^^

I always loved the daedric armor, because of the black/red colors and its kind of evil look. I love glass armor a lot as well, it looks quite fancy, imo just enough for me to like it, but not too much to seem ugly.

Now I was talking mostly about the looks, but stat-wise, I just go with the strongest pieces of heavy or light armor I find, depending on my char's class and stats.

Were you wearing Ordinator Armour?

Why yes, now that you mention it^^
I guess they don't like that xD
But it was some of the best armor I "found", at least where I didn't have daedric pieces or strong artefacts.

We had a similar topic a long while back; I'll repeat the same answer as I gave then: The Indoril/Ordinator armor. A nice ceremonial look, and fairly effective as well. Bonus points for a helmet with a face on it. ^.^

The glass armor in Skyrim is my favorite of any TES set I've seen. ^-^ It's elegant and badass at the same time. Plus is it vaguely impossible, in a very fascinating way... the way the light would play on it in a dungeon. I could just stare at it all day!

Actually, the glass weapons were that way too. That's why I always had my glass stuff displayed around my house.

Man, Morrowind did really well with their armor looks in general, now that I think about it. Not only that, but you could super-power your character through enchantment (and make it look exactly how you want) because of the sheer amount of stuff you could put on (underwear, pants, shirt, boots, right glove, left glove, left pauldron, right pauldron, leg armor, body armor, helmet, necklace, however many rings, and a robe over everything). Ugh... I might have to download Morrowind on my computer now (and try not to just cheat my way through everything).

Although it's not really a "set", I really like Savior's Hide. As for actual sets, glass/Ordinator armor from Morrowind were both pretty nice looking.
