The longest time for me was 8 hours, i did all the Guild questlines in Skyrim and a number of random quests, then i had to stop because I got (as i often get) a headache :P.

But I Think I can bet that no-one of you have been gaming so long as a guy i know did. He sat for four Days, with only short pauses for food. He got fever after that....

And including this, thats how a guy who were gaming with me and some other were acting, really happy huh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2kw-R9X0W8

Thats not him and im very sure thats fake, but he screamed and yelled (in Swedish not german) like that for over an hour....

I tend to do 48 hour stretches, not straight mind you, I go do biological stuff, but I won't sleep, well, I plan to sleep then suddenly realise the sun is up and it's just like eh, I may as well keep playing. And then I sit up till 3am the next night as well.

Some of you already know, Xenogears (PS1) release. Played 72 hours straight, maybe more because the game time doesn't log the time spent when you die and have to load at last save point). I finally passed out while watching the ending. Didn't take any breaks, I got my bro to buy food for me and stuff. When we played FFXI 12-20 hour a day was normal when I was off work.

I think the longest for me has been 12-14 hours with brief pauses to use the restroom. But I would eat at my computer.

:O I once knew someone who got so absorbed in their game that they wet themselves... And kept playing in their dirt... *Pukes*

A couple of hours, with breaks of about ten, twenty minutes. No more :P

Ive done about two days including breaks, but there was one time, one time...

I sat in front of Minecraft for 16 hours straight. I did not use the bathroom. I did not eat or drink. I did not move. And after the 16 hours, I found out I didn't even blink.

See, when you don't blink, your eyes turn red and bloodshot. What is not exposed to the air, that part stays white. So when I looked in the mirror, by eyes were a deep red, and swollen. But when I opened them really wide, all around this oval of red was white. So essentially my head stayed completely straight and didn't move for that long. I know its hard to explain, but I never saw anything like it.

I did make an enormous chasm down to bedrock, and built a castle as high as it could go though.

Skooma man, that skooma...

Xenogears? You're one of the only actual gamers left in the world. Too many people hold that title without actually knowing what it really means.

Oh god, well... I think my times of total crazy are gone. Back when I played LotrO/AoC I'd take gaming days during the weekend and then I'd play... I don't know, 14 hours, 16 hours at a time before I went to sleep. Obviously I did eat and drink and blink (dayum @Seamus, not blinking? Come on dude! xD) but I didn't leave my nerd-corner. I miss that nerd-corner, I only had to turn the (supercomfy) chair and the latté-machine was right behind me ;_; Fun fact: it was my best friend's room, he hated me sometimes xD

I don't do that anymore, though. I honestly play a game for 2 hours at a time now, because there's simply other stuff I need to do (puppy/lots of work). Back then I could get pretty bad, admittedly ;)

^What he said, some years ago when we were one sexy duo. Now we are old with a child now so not happening anymore. Nowadays my max would be 6-10 hours.

It depends, really. Back when I was pushing to play pro rugby, I'd be exhausted what with school, training and gym. So when I had a day off or on the weekends, the only thing I'd be able to do was sit in front of the PC, trying not to move too much and icing various muscle groups. I could do if from as soon as I got up till evening, with a few meal breaks. These days I play more frequently but I can't sit still for more than a few hours, and once I do it I have to get outside and do something.

I suspect the first few days of TESO will be different though.

Oh, I know I've done 36-48 hour gaming benders, lol. Never really kept track, but when you're playing a new MMO, and they only have "beta weekends" you squeeze every ounce of playing time out of them that you can possibly get.
