Look, i need to make a choice today, very soon, and i need to know. Should I get Skyrim Legendary Edition??? Or Oblivion Game Of The Year Edition??? I've played skyrim alot in the past, but i mostly want to just get it for the DLCs, but then again... I've never played Oblivion so i need help in choosing what to do... i can only choose one btw.

Why did I have to be THE DRAGON BORN ? :c

Ugh, that's a terrible choice to have to make. :( I'm guessing an answer of "find any way possible to get both" isn't going to take... If you haven't played Oblivion, though, I'm going to recommend that one instead of the one you've already played.

Count only the happy hours.

Personally i'd go with Oblivion. Skyrim has the graphics and the snazzy combat system to be sure. But oblivion has the story. Skryim's just went by way to fast, and that says nothing for the guilds. The guilds in TES games keep getting more and more simplistic and linear, which can be enjoyable for some but i don't care too much for it. The thieves and brotherhood guilds in Oblivion were probably my favorite parts of that game too.

However go buy Morrowind if you want a real treat. None of this fast travel or quest marker business. You just have to hike it from one point of the map to another and pray you find the right door along the away. The story and guilds, far more then 4 there, were fantastic too boot. I don't think i've had a character i've cared more about then i did when playing through that game.

I would say oblivion though I think skyrim's main story in some aspects is more interesting because you really get to be the hero oblivion has a much longer and in depth game all together plus shivering isles is a much better dlc than the skryim dlc and alone is worth it just in my opinion.

Personally skyrim is a very incomplete game or at least it seems so the game has basically three cliff hangers for three huge portions of the game with little no resolution and in one case even an obvious until next time which just feels a little meh to play through to have such a iffy resolution and no idea of what happens next especially with no more dlc planned and no sequel probably in the works it just is a little meh of an experience even though there are also more issues its a good game, but by far I think the previous installments have some significant edges in story and depth

This is probably way too late now, but I would say go Oblivion simply for the fact that you've never played it before so it's an all-new experience.

Neither. Morrowind, before it's too late!
