I'm thinking of doing a tank sorcerer, with only conjuration, duel wielding and heavy armour. Should I do an all around class with even points in each, or focus entirely on mana and health or focus on mana and stamina?

I'd say to split it between Health and Magicka, with some stamina sprinkled in so you can block and dodge. 50% Health, 35% Magicka, 15% Stamina.

That's just a rough estimate, because of course we don't know what we're looking at for perks. It might be likely that the points in stamina are useless, or that you don't need that much magicka to keep up your summons.

In skyrim, I did something like this:
Level up, put a point in health, then magicka, then stamina, then health, then magicka, then health, then health, then magicka, etc
3 Health, 2 Magicka, 1 Stamina, repeat.
Because I am neat and orderly and lose my sword often :3

Depends on your need for the magic skills. If you plan on using a lot of magic based skills, your stamina Will suffer which can interfere with your dual wield and cc breaking skills. I would assume focusing on the summoning skills that you may not be too magic dependent but hard to say.

It also sounds like block and dodge are integral for finesse rewards, so don't downplay stamina

50 points to health, grab Medium armor. Go for daedric protection with supportive hp regen passives, grab sword & board, stamina to mana / hp conversion, snares and Dark magic AoE purge ulti. DM lifesteal and you're good to go. Damage from DoT's & AoE purge ulti.

I agree with the high health and splitting the remaining points between stamina and magicka as both are equally important as secondary stats in this build.

Well I tought of Sorc tank build yesterday

Active: 1 Summon Winged Twilight (AoE taunt pet and enabler of Daedric Protection)
2 Conjured Ward (cheap long lasting dmg reduction for me and the Twilight)
3 Bound Armor (depends how much much reduction 150 armor gives) or Defensive Posture from Sword and Shield skills
4 Lightning form (expensive short term dmg reduction + AoE damage)
5 Bolt Escape (AoE stun and charging loose enemy) or Shield charge from Sword and Shield skills
Ultimate: I like all 3, depends on situation but generally Overload seems the sexiest

Weapons obviously Sword and Board

Heavy armor

Most stat points would go into health to make good use of Daedric protection and whatever goodies Heavy armor and Sword and Board, Battle Prowess or Fighters Guild might bring to health pool. Investment to stamina and magicka would depend on skill 3 and 5 choice, also on how often I would be magicka/stamina starved, consumable potions will reflext that too
