Ok hi guys, I made a topic but I've now put this is the right place so here I go. This is going to be a bit long, but if you would take the time to read this and give me a hand I’ll be incredibly thankful. First of I’ll tell you a little about my drama. I’m playing ESO and I’m struggling to stick to a particular character as I keep getting bored because I cant settle into my character and I know why, I’m not thinking my character through or making him like myself, and I’m stuck on which race I would most likely be or share values and characteristics with.

A bit about me. I’m 19 and I have been in the British Army since I was 16, I had passed selection at 15 with 20-30 year olds and I genuinely believe if you want something you go out and make it happen. I respect honor (yes I believe it still exists in some of us), integrity, loyalty, courage, and will power. I’m quite quiet and won't particularly talk about myself unless it is polite or necessary to do so. I tend to stick to myself when I’m not at work, I’m perfectly capable of working in a team though as it’s part of my job. I will always look out for other people and I have a strict rule that you have to do the right thing, even on a difficult day, no matter the consequences. I’m not afraid of getting into a fight in the slightest yet I wouldn’t say I’m a brute as I like to think I’m moderately intelligent ;) I believe that everyone deserves a second chance but if you need a third you wont get it from me. I am of a calm and quiet persona and I never do or say anything without thinking it through. ok so enough about me, I’m sorry if I have come across as vain by talking about myself but I would really like to chose a race that fits me. If anyone can help me I would be very grateful as I love the Elder Scrolls games and it’s starting to annoy me that I cant get into it fully. thanks again :)

Well, I'm new here so while I can't say if this is in the right spot I will try to help on a character.

From what I've learned, it's not really the race that matters but how you develop it. Not helping I know, but here's how I'm developing my main, a Khajiit Templar named Do'Cuin. Most Khajiit are known to be merchants, mostly scrimping to get by in the world they live in. However, my particular character is a tough but moral Khajiit who fights to do what's right rather than simply for money. Her upbringing is pretty much unknown so I can mold her to how I want her ( what kinda Khajiit raised by merchant parents rushes headlong into battles with spirits, daedra and who knows what else? They'd raise her to make money, not kill things), so she holds my values of helping others over material goods, while still holding the free spirit most Khajiit are known to have.

Assuming you still wanted a specific race with certain traits, no one size fits all. Nord sounds like it fits with a few segments, such as bravery, respect for honor, and all that kinda stuff. However, you have other traits that fit Argonian such as calm and quiet as well as politeness (in my opinion, all I have to go by are several games, I'm new to the series)

Honestly if I were you, I'd go Nord, I think that fits the bill most, and I've seen some nord NPCs who could be considered quiet, and not all are considered drunkards who fight heheh. And you could mold your Nord to have the honor and bravery other Nords have, but make him like a quiet hunter who keeps to himself.

Hope this helps :)
