I know its a dumb question but... Say i'm a Khajiit and my two friends that i want to play with are an Orc and an Argonian. Will I be able to dungeon crawl with them?

It's safe to say that you won't be able to, no.

Yes you will be able too in cyrodiil in the public dungeons all dungeons in the pve carebears zones are instanced and because of the pve carebears setup of the alliance territorys you will not see any othe faction when u pve.

Hmm... That's a shame... If you couldn't tell already I'm not very informed about the server rules and faction stuff. So may I ask another question? How many people should I probably be expecting in a public dungeon. It just doesn't sound fun going into a dungeon with a friend constantly being separated due to a crowded cave! :P

Until we see how many people are actually playing, that'll be really tough to guess. Not only that but you have to factor in the variables of peak hour times vs. not, if it's near a main hub or not, etc. I will say though that there should be PLENTY of dungeons/area in Cyrodiil so if one is a little too crowded for your tastes you can just move to somewhere different.

There are public dungeons inside of faction controlled zones too. But you'll just hafta go through them with members of your own faction. Nothing wrong with that. Personal preference. Calling someone a care bear for not wanting to engage in pvp is like calling someone stupid for not liking the same type of ice cream as you.

We also will be able to explore caves, ruins, etc. in a small group party of 4. And larger groups, I'd presume. Oh gosh, I hope there are awesome Dwemer ruins. My favo places in Morrowind. I even modded an archiologist/ cartographer Khajiit for my sister to play during her visit with us.

TESO - - Multiplayer: "M'aiq does not know this word. You wish others to help you in your quest? Coward! If you must, search for the Argonian Im-Leet, or perhaps the big Nord, Rolf the Uber. They will certainly wish to join you." M'aiq the Liar.

"Va Khaj Dar - Khajiity's united? M'aiq will join!" M'aiq the Liar

i dont think its a dumb question at all. if Zenimax was smart, they'd allow all factions to join dungeons together. in fact the factions should only serve pvp purposes. they should not gate off the player base, especially with three different factions, that would be splitting up the community a lot.

I get your point, but that would big a big no-no lorewise, and also negate the reason for factions in the first place.

But I think that there is a point where lore needs to be put second. The point of a video game is for enjoyment and entertainment. I would be so much more entertained and enjoy myself more if I could play with friends. In no circumstance am I saying lore isn't important though. I wish more people sided with me about this because Zenimax has done such a good job at adjusting to what the consumer wants in this title. If enough people were on board they might even cage that too.

"The point of a video game is for enjoyment and entertainment." well for me that is hawing enemy faction that i can fight and hate, and hawing my own faction that i can love and dedicate my time to its improvment and War effort. If you dont like it there is a lot MMO out there that offer what you seek, like Tera for example.

I understand but I have friends that dot want to be in Aldmeri dominion like me and I want to play with them not them and 8 other guys I don't know. You know what I mean? This will be my first actual MMO to be honest so I don't know what to expect. I just wish that their was a second option that tailored to the people that don't particularly enjoy playing with friends... Like a co-op type gameplay option. That's what I hoped for when I fort heard of this.

Then make an alt, or simply join the other faction and make your alt a Khajiit.

I get where you're going with your co-op thing, but I don't think it should be implemented in the general gameplay. You could maybe get some of it the Thieves Guild/Figthers Guild/Mages Guild or The Dark brotherhood, but no where else..
