Oops, spelled Restaurant wrong in the title. Tongue_out_laughing

I, being a guy, love food. While I'm not the kind of guy who eats a lot of food at one time, I'm very picky on what food I eat. I am blessed enough to live in a relatively wealthy family, not to boast, and from that I have been to many nice restaurants. My favorite restaurant was a seafood place I went to on vacation in Hilton Head North Carolina called Hudson's. It wasn't actually that expensive even for how great the food was. Not to mention their hush-puppies were #1 ( or #2 I do not recall ) in the U.S. Not only that, but I was able to listen to a guy playing classical guitar on the pier where we ate, and the food was absolutely amazing. If you ever plan on going there, I recommend getting the catch of the day fish. Smiling

It made me think, there has to be a lot of restaurants around the U.S. or other countries which have both a wonderful atmosphere & good food. Perhaps this is just a bucket list of mine to go to all the good restaurants of the world, but I thought why not hear what everyone here thinks their favorite restaurant is. I'd be delighted to know as I'm going to take a road trip across the U.S. with some of my friends in a few years when I turn 21. Might as well get a list of great restaurants on the way. Happy

So, without further ado, what is your favorite restaraunt? Smiling

This one is difficult because my favorite is one that nobody will have ever heard or know of, but it is a local tapas bistro. From the creme brulee to the roast duck, to...oh my god the salad (spring greens, candied almonds, celery, carmalized red onions, red apples, and bleu cheese in a raspberry walnut vinaigrette...you've never had anything like this before in your life)

In terms of large national chains, Olive Garden and Panrea are at at the top of my list there. You can't go wrong with Olive Gardens Zuppa...or pretty much anything from Panera.

Ebonheart Pact ─ Casual to Moderate ─ North American.
Weekly Raids ─ Private Voice Chat ─ Council Leadership.
For the Brotherhood. For the Pact.

One of my favorites was a llittle family owned chain in Denver, CO named Chubby's. They have THE BEST mexican food Ive ever tasted. Ever heard of it @"Tecca"?

Otherwise, Id say Red Lobster. :)

For me its the Reb Lobster since i love seafood. I've only been there once b/c its kind of expensive but their food is really good and semi-fresh (The best you can get without living by the sea)

I do love other places as well, but i dont think anyone here knows any of them.

Yeah, but I've only ever been there once with my ex. I was hungover and hardly ate anything, but it was pretty good from what I had.

Oh, and probably Texas Roadhouse for me.

Best Steakhouse chain in the US by far: Outback, they're pretty much in every city, highly recommend.

Not Set
My absolute favorite is now closed, was a little place on the beach of Pass Christian, Ms named French Charley's http://www.frenchcharleys.com/Menu.html
They also had amazing daily specials.

Another place on the coast was Half Shell Gulfport, Ms

Tien in Biloxi, Ms Their duck lettuce wraps and pho were amazing.

I've moved to TN, still trying to find my favorites here but those were my favorites in MS

I also agree with ya @Qallidex MOST Outbacks are pretty damn good, especially now that they have the wood-fire grilled option. Their butter sauce for seafood even beats Red Lobsters.

Locally, its between one of our donair shops, Cosmos, for their amazing donairs and one of our pub's for their amazing poutine.

Large scale: im a chicken guy. If KFC was more consistent up here, id say them. Good god, id die in heaven (and probably just die) if i could just order a bucket of skin by itself. :( Currently its Hooters, but strictly for the chicken strips.

You should take a trip to Hilton head pre-summer. The beaches are pretty nice there as long as you don't go in August (jellyfish). & Hudson's is to die for. =P

During one of many trips to Tallinn (Estonia) for cheap booze (i'm from Finland), me and my friends once ended up in a medieval-themed restaurant called Peppersack, and that was -the-best-restaurant- i've ever visited,
in these forums i guess it's easiest to describe it like this; interior kinda like The Bannered Mare with tables, candle-lighting, a bit dim, medieval music in the background, huge steaks that DaymDrops would describe as "strong" haha, freshly baked, warm bread and absolutely great beer brewed in the house.
The dishes was around 20€/25$ iirc so not bad at all.
Sadly i've been there only once, since we've always been busy getting wasted while visiting our southern neighbours ;), but i still get goose skin just by thinking about that place.

If i ever go to North Carolina I'd check it out. If it has seafood I'm sure I would like it :)

I don't go to much different places to eat as I don't go out much and as well usually eat at the same places. But, I really do like the Outback Steakhouse the most.
